ANTS ON A LOG
This is a fun snack that kids can make. It consists of artfully arranged celery, peanut butter, and raisins.

PEANUT AND RAISIN LOG CANDY
This candy is so easy to make and is delicious , it calls for them to be refrigerated but thats only if they last that long ..you might want to make a double batch I do :)

Steps:
- Mix all the ingredients ( Except the raisins )together until creamy ; Add the raisins now and mix well.
- Divide the candy mixture into 24 pieces ; form each into a small log shape , Wrap individually in clear plastic wrap. Keep Refrigerated.

Steps:
- Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler set over barely simmering water, stirring frequently. When melted, remove from the heat and mix in the peanuts and raisins. Drop the mixture by the spoonful onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or a nonstick baking mat, or pour into a buttered loaf pan lined with plastic wrap. Let set at room temperature until firm and completely cooled. If using a loaf pan, cut up into squares. Store in an airtight container.

- Melt chocolate in top part of double boiler over boiling water (You may just do in a pan over low heat if you don't have double boiler).
- Add condensed milk and salt.
- Cook for 10 minutes, or until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Add raisins and nuts.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto wax paper.
- Refrigerate until firm.
- Makes bout 20 clusters.

- Kneed all ingredients together with your hands, adding enough milk powder to form a stiff but not crumbly dough. This may be more or less than a cup depending upon how thin your peanut butter and honey are.
- Optional ingredients can be kneaded in as well.
- Shape into logs about 2-3 inches long and 1 inch in diameter.
- Roll in powdered milk, confectioner's sugar or coconut.

- Work in as much of the dry milk as you need to make the mixture easy to handle and fairly stiff.
- Pick up the mixture and knead in raisins, distributing them evenly throughout.
- Roll this into a 1 inch thick, 10 inch long log.
- Roll the log in coconut.
- Chill several hours.
- To serve, slice into rounds.
- Store in the refrigerator.
