PEANUT BUTTER CUP RICE KRISPIE TREATS RECIPE

Steps:

• Butter or spray a 9x13 pan and set aside.
• Melt the butter over low heat in a saucepan. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Stir in the peanut butter.
• Pour the cereal into the marshmallow mixture and stir until completely combined. Press half the cereal mixture into the prepared pan quickly.
• Place the 24 peanut butter cups over the top of the rice krispies in the pan.
• Spoon the rest of the Rice Krispies mixture over the top and press down. Let cool completely.
• Place the chocolate chips and heavy cream in a saucepan and heat over low to medium heat until melted. Stir until creamy.
• Spread over the top of the Rice Krispie treats. Let set. Cut into 24 squares. Store in a sealed container on the counter.

• In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the butter and marshmallows for 3 minutes, stirring halfway through heating time, until completely melted. Add the peanut butter and stir again. Add 6 cups of crispy rice cereal and stir until well combined. Let cool slightly.

• Place sugar, syrup and peanut butter in heavy sauce pan and bring to a boil.
• Place the rice crispies in a large bowl.
• Stir the mixture on to the top of the cereal, til all is covered.
• Place mixture on buttered cookie sheet, use hands covered in butter to spread. (I have tried to use a utensil,and always reverted to the hand spreading method).
• Place in fridge to cool.
• Cut in squares.

Steps:

• Prepare a cupcake tin with 6 liners.
• Stir peanut butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
• Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of chocolate in the bottom of each cupcake liner.
• Dollop 1 to 2 teaspoons of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate.
• Cover each dollop of peanut butter with more chocolate and smooth out the top.
• Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chocolate has hardened.

Steps:

• In a medium sauce pan, mix together sugar, peanut butter, and corn syrup. Be careful not to let it burn, or it will ruin the recipe. Stir mixture until well melted. Remove pan from heat.
• Combine warm peanut butter mixture with crisp rice cereal.
• Grease well a 9 x 13 inch pan with butter or margarine. Spread mixture in pan. Allow to cool. When mixture is no longer sticky to the touch, cut into bars.

• In a large sauce pan over medium heat, melt the sugar, corn syrup, and peanut butter until smooth and evenly combined. Remove from heat. Quickly add the salt and cereal and stir to combine thoroughly. Add the chocolate chips and stir again. Wait about 1 min and add the chopped candy, quickly folding the mixture together so as to not smash up the candy. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop rounded tablespoons onto the sheet. Microwave 10-15 seconds longer or until chips are melted; stir until smooth. Stir in water, vanilla and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Carefully spread over the cereal layer. Carefully press remaining cereal mixture over peanut butter layer. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour. Cut into squares.
