HAM BALLS

Ham Balls image

(I was given this recipe a few years ago). It is one everyone will ask for. I took it once to a Birthday Party and was asked for the recipe by at least 5 people including the host. These can be served for dinner on rice or taken to parties and kept warm in a crockpot until serving. They can also be made ahead of time and frozen.

HAM BALLS

This is my newest, favorite meatball recipe. If you like a sweet twist, you'll like this one. The meatballs will be slightly pink inside when done because of the pork, so do not overbake them!

PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH HAM BALLS

Pennsylvania Dutch Ham Balls image

The woman who shared this married a man from Lancaster PA, right in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. She recreated this recipe after tasting ham balls at a family birthday party. These are the sweet, meaty morsels with a tangy glaze. Traditionally, they would be served with noodles to soak up the glaze, but rice or potatoes will do the job nicely.

Time 1h20m

Yield 24 ham balls, 12 serving(s)

DELICIOUS AMISH HAM MEATBALLS - AMISH AND MENNONITE RECIPES
2021-12-10 The ground beef in the recipe keeps the meatballs from being too "hammy", but if you really love your ham then, yes, feel free to omit the ground beef completely and go with 100 percent ham meatballs. The recipe will work just fine with just ham, you would want to add one more pound of ground ham to keep the rest of the recipe proportions the same.
