Here's what you need: olive oil, boneless, skinless chicken breast, butter, onion, carrots, flour, milk, chicken broth, frozen peas, salt, pepper, puff pastry, egg

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
5 ¼ tablespoons butter
onion, diced
3 carrots, diced
½ cup flour
1 cup milk
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup frozen peas
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
4 sheets puff pastry
1 egg, beaten

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Add the oil to a large pot over high heat. Once the oil begins to shimmer, add the chicken, and stir until cooked through, about 7 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a bowl.
  • Melt butter in the same pot. Add the onions and carrots and stir until softened, about 8 minutes.
  • Add the flour, stirring to combine. Slowly add the milk and chicken broth, alternating between the two, stirring continuously and bringing to a boil.
  • Add the cooked chicken, peas, salt, and pepper, and stir until thoroughly mixed. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Lay out puff pastry sheets and use a small 6-inch (15 cm) bowl to cut circles out of it.
  • Place dough circles in a nonstick muffin tin and fill with pot pie mixture.
  • Using remaining puff pastry, cut ⅛-inch (3 mm) strips of dough, and make a lattice top for each muffin cup. Brush the lattice tops with the egg.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, until golden brown.

Number Of Ingredients 4

3/4 cup chopped leftover chicken (or 1 small fresh chicken breast, fully cooked)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup mixed frozen vegetables (peas, carrots, corn and green beans, defrosted)
1 package refrigerated biscuit dough

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375F.
  • Combine the chicken, mixed vegetables and cream of chicken soup in a medium bowl and stir well.
  • Separate each of the biscuits and place them into the compartments of a greased muffin tin.
  • Using your fingers, push down on the dough starting in the middle, then working the dough up the sides of each of the muffin compartments, as high as it will go.
  • Add the filling to each of the compartments (approximately 2 Tablespoons each).
  • Bake at 375F for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

1 tablespoon olive oil
2.5 cup rotisserie chicken, diced
1/4 cup onion, diced
1/4 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup bell pepper, diced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 oz. frozen peas and carrots
1 puff pastry crust
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Place 4-6 ramekins inside a larger baking dish or baking sheet. This prevents spills in the oven and makes it easier to transfer.
  • In a Dutch oven or heavy-bottom saucepan, heat the olive oil, onions, celery, and bell peppers over medium-high heat. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until tender.
  • Stir in the diced chicken, flour, and seasonings and stir to combine then cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Add water, heavy cream, and the peas and carrots then bring to a boil, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for 10-15 minutes until the mixture is very thick.
  • Remove from heat, and divide the mixture between the ramekins.
  • Cut the puff pastry into circles the size of the ramekins and place them on top of the filling mixture.
  • Brush the tops of the pastry with melted butter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.

1 recipe Foolproof PHILLY Pie Crust Recipe
1 tub (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
3 cups chopped cooked chicken
3 cups frozen mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower), thawed, drained

Steps:

  • Prepare Foolproof PHILLY Pie Crust dough and roll into 11-inch round. Use 3-1/2-inch round cutter to cut dough into 6 rounds; discard dough trimmings or reserve for another use. (See tip.)
  • Heat oven to 400°F. Whisk cream cheese spread, milk and seasonings in large bowl until blended; stir in chicken and vegetables. Spoon into 6 (6 to 8 oz.) ramekins.
  • Place pastry rounds over ingredients in ramekins; press edges of pastry to edges of ramekins to seal. Cut several slits in each crust to permit steam to escape. Place ramekins on baking sheet.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until crusts are golden brown.

Philly Cheesesteak Pot Pie has the flavors of your favorite cheesesteak like beef, bell peppers, and cheese sauce all baked in a tasty, buttery pie crust.

2 pie crusts (, 9 inch unbaked)
2 pounds ribeye meat (, thinly sliced and chopped)
1/3 cup butter
1 green bell pepper (, chopped)
1 yellow onion (, chopped)
8 ounces mushrooms (, chopped)
1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1 cup milk
2 cups beef broth
8 ounces Velveeta (, or cheez whiz)
1 large egg
2 tablespoons water

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and add the first pie crust to your pie pan.
  • In a large skillet on medium-high heat, add the beef and cook until just cooked through then remove from the pan, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the butter, green bell pepper, onions, and mushrooms and cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes until the onions are translucent.
  • Add in the flour and whisk well for1 minute.
  • Season with salt and pepper before adding in the milk, broth, and Velveeta cheese slowly while mixing very well keeping the mixture smooth, simmering until thickened (about 6-8 minutes).
  • Add the beef back to the saucepan and mix well with the milk mixture before pouring into the pie dish, and topping with the second pie crust, sealing the edges.
  • Cut some small slits in the top of the pie crust, brush with egg wash (mix the egg and 2 tablespoons of water together to make this) and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
