PIG CAKE POPS - SIX SISTERS' STUFF

- Make cake according to box in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Let it cool completely before you begin the crumbling process. Once the cake is fully cooled, crumble the cake into a mixing bowl. Crumble until there are no chunks. If there are chunks, your cake balls will be lumpy. Once the cake is fully crumbled up, mix in 2/3 of the frosting. (I used my hands to mix it up).Once the frosting is mixed in with the crumbled cake, roll them into 1-inch balls. and place them on a cookie sheet that is covered with wax paper. Freeze the balls for half an hour.
- Melt the chips according to the package. Dip the end of the stick (about 1/2 inch) into the melted candy coating, then stick the partly frozen cake ball onto the coated area of the stick, then continue to dip the cake ball fully into the melted chips. Once dipped, set it in a place where it can stand. (I used a tall shoe box, with holes just big enough to poke the stick in it.) Before the candy coating dries, stick the ears (M&M's cut in half) into the candy coating.
- Once you have dipped all the cake balls into the candy coating, and they have dried, melt a few more chips as adhesive for the M&M nose. I used a toothpick to apply the melted coating to the face, then stuck on the M&M. Once the noses have dried on, use the edible marker to draw two eyes and two nostrils for the pig.
