These pineapple shaped sandwiches are filled with a delicious cream cheese and pineapple filling.

1 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 Tablespoon pineapple juice
Whole Grain Bread (or bread of your choice)

Steps:

  • Combine all the ingredients together and mix well. Blend until smooth.
  • Spread pineapple filling on bread slices to make sandwiches.
  • Use a cookie cutter to cut out the sandwiches or slice off the crusts with a knife.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 -2 stalk celery, chopped fine
1/4 cup nuts, chopped fine
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
6 -8 maraschino cherries, chopped

Steps:

  • Have cheese at room temperature.
  • Combine cheese, sugar and mayonnaise and mix well with mixer.
  • Mix in rest of ingredients by hand.
  • Place in refrigerator awhile until firm. Spread on bread of your choice.
  • Cut off crusts; and cut bread into shapes of your choice.

A great tea party needs two things: great friends and great food. These little sammies are so nice to serve. I love using my little silver multi-layer dishes to display everything I'm serving. These are pretty along side other tea sandwiches. Mighty tasty too!

3/4 cup soft butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon or 1 teaspoon nutmeg
20 slices bread, of your choice
1 1/2 cups soft cream cheese
1/2 cup pineapple, finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (for this recipe, I prefer walnuts)

Steps:

  • Combine the butter with cinnamon or nutmeg and spread the mixture over 1 side of each slice of bread.
  • In a small bowl, cream the cream cheese, if necessary, and stir in the pineapple and nuts.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over 10 slices of bread and top with the other 10 slices.
  • Remove the crusts and cut.
