BLUEBERRY-POMEGRANATE SLUSHY

Steps:

• Puree blueberries, pomegranate juice, agave, and ice in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately.

WATERMELON MARGARITA SLUSHIES

Steps:

• Freeze 4 cups chopped watermelon, 2 hours. Chill 4 rocks glasses. Blend the frozen watermelon with 1/2 cup frozen limeade concentrate, 3 ounces each silver tequila and orange liqueur, and the juice of 1 lime until slushy. Pour into the glasses; garnish with lime.

WATERMELON SLUSHIES

Steps:

• The night before your picnic, puree 6 cups chopped seedless watermelon in a blender until smooth, pour into a shallow airtight container and freeze. Bring the frozen watermelon on your picnic (it'll double as an extra ice pack) and let thaw slightly, then mash with a fork and spoon into cups.

WHISKEY-CRANBERRY SLUSHES

Steps:

• Combine the whiskey, 3 cups cranberry juice, the pomegranate juice, orange juice, lime juice, sugar and 1/2 cup water in a large, shallow freezer-safe container. Stir well, then cover and freeze until the mixture is icy, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes, 4 to 5 hours.
• Scrape the frozen mixture with a spoon and divide among glasses, filling them three-quarters of the way. Divide the remaining 3 cups cranberry juice among the glasses and top with the diced cranberries; stir until slushy and garnish with mint.
