Steps:
- Place beef jerky in a food processor; pulse until finely ground. Place ribs in a 5- or 6-qt. slow cooker; top with jerky, beans, broth, onion, bacon, garlic and pepper flakes. Cook, covered, on low 6-8 hours or until meat is tender., When cool enough to handle, remove meat from bones; discard bones. Shred meat with 2 forks; return to slow cooker. Strain pork mixture; discard juices. Serve with chips and toppings as desired. Freeze option: Freeze cooled shredded meat mixture with juices in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Heat through in a saucepan, stirring occasionally. Strain pork mixture; discard juices. Serve with chips and toppings as desired.

- Pulse beef jerky in a food processor until finely ground. Working in batches, place 1-1/2 pounds ribs in a 6-qt. electric pressure cooker; top with half the jerky, 2 cans beans, 2 cups broth, 1/2 cup onion, 3 bacon strips, 2 tsp. garlic and 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. Lock lid; close pressure-release valve. Adjust to pressure-cook on high for 40 minutes., Allow pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes; quick-release any remaining pressure. Remove pork mixture from pressure cooker; make second batch by adding remaining ingredients to cooker. Repeat previous procedure. , When cool enough to handle, remove meat from bones; discard bones. Shred meat with 2 forks; return to pressure cooker. Select saute setting and adjust for high heat; heat through. Strain pork mixture; discard juices. Serve with chips and toppings as desired.

PRESSURE COOKED PINTO BEANS

- Pick over beans, rinse and drain. Be sure to not fill the pressure cooker above the halfway mark. Combine ingredients in the cooker and cook for 22 to 25 minutes. For firm cooked beans, check for doneness after minimum time indicated. For soft cooked beans, add 2 extra minutes under high pressure. When cooking time is up, quick release pressure by placing cooker under cold running water. Drain immediately. Always clean the lid and vent thoroughly after cooking beans.
- Optional presoak: Cook the beans under high pressure for 1 minute, using 4 cups of water per cup of dried beans. Quick release the pressure under cold running water, drain and rinse the beans. Always discard any loose or free floating bean skins before further cooking. Follow cooking instructions above but adjust cooking time to 7 to 10 minutes.

- Cover beans with 2" water in large saucepan and heat to boiling; let boil, uncovered, 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, cover and set aside for at least 1 hour and up to 4 hours.
- Drain soaking water and rinse.
- Cut pork roast into 6 slices, 1 1/2-2" thick; cut slices into halves.
- Sauté pork, onion, and garlic in oil in pressure cooker over medium heat until browned, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in beans and remaining ingredients, except sweet potatoes.
- Close and seal lid; cook 12 minutes at 15 pounds pressure, according to manufacturer's directions.
- Immediately cool cooker under cold water and open lid.
- Add sweet potatoes to pressure cooker.
- Close and seal lid; cook at 15 pounds pressure until sweet potatoes are tender, 2-3 minutes.
- Immediately cool cooker under cold water and open lid.
