Ingredients

1 jar (12-1/4 ounces) caramel ice cream topping
1 cup chopped pecans
36 butter-flavored crackers
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening

Steps:

In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the caramel topping and pecans on high for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until mixture is thickened. Cool for 5 minutes. Place the crackers on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Spoon 1 teaspoon caramel mixture over each cracker. Refrigerate for 1 hour. , In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and shortening; stir until smooth. Dip the bottom of each cracker in chocolate; shake off excess. Place caramel side down on waxed paper-lined pans. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set. Store in an airtight container.

My Aunt gave me this recipe. I knew it had to be good because she's a wonderful cook. Children and adults love this. Easy and unique.

Ingredients

1 cup chopped dates
1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
3 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup soften butter
1 (16 ounce) box box Ritz crackers

Steps:

Cook dates, milk and pecans until thick.
Line crackers on cookie sheet.
Put a dollop of mixture on each cracker.
Bake 350 for 20 to 30 mins and cool.
Mix powdered sugar, butter and cream cheese together,top each cracker with this mixture.
Put in fridge until set.
Makes 38 crackers.
