1 cup milk
1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
7 to 10 ounces tuna, drained and flaked
1 10.5-ounces can condensed cream of mushroom soup, or cream of celery soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs

1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles
2 cups frozen green peas
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 (5 ounce) cans tuna, drained
1 onion, chopped
10 slices American processed cheese
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add noodles and frozen peas. Cook until noodles are al dente, drain well. Return noodles and peas to the pot.
  • Mix soup, tuna fish, onions, processed cheese and pepper into the pot. Stir constantly until all of the ingredients are well mixed and the cheese has melted. Serve.

Tuna, macaroni, creamy soup, cheese and fried onions are all you need to make this super easy tuna casserole that I learned from my roommate. It's great as leftovers, too.

3 cups cooked macaroni
1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups French fried onions

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a 9x13-inch baking dish, combine the macaroni, tuna, and soup. Mix well, and then top with cheese.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 25 minutes, or until bubbly. Sprinkle with fried onions, and bake for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.

My fiance and I love cooking for each other, even though most of the time we end up cooking up a box of mac 'n cheese. I try to change things up a bit by adding things I have on hand. This is one I came up with one night that ended up being very good and I make it over and over on those nights when I don't have a lot of time and I don't want to make just another box of macaroni.

1 (5 ounce) can albacore tuna (in water)
1 (7 1/4 ounce) box Kraft macaroni and cheese
1/4 cup milk
1 -2 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup mushroom (diced)
1/4 onion (diced)
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 dash paprika
crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)

Steps:

  • Boil water for macaroni and begin cooking as directed on package (usually approximately 8 minutes.).
  • Heat butter in small sauce pan.
  • Add mushrooms, onion, parsley, basil, paprika, and red pepper to pan. Let cook for about 3 minutes (until onions are transparent).
  • Add a dash of the liquid from the tuna to the pan. Drain the rest and add tuna to pan.
  • Stir in about 2/3 of the can of tomatoes, the rest can either be mixed in or served on top.
  • Lower heat and let simmer for a couple minutes.
  • When the noodles are cooked, drain and return to pan.
  • Mix the milk, cheese powder, and tuna mixture to the noodles.
  • Serve with a scoop of tomatoes on top. (optional).

This is a dish I whipped together for my fiance. I wanted to make sure he had something yummy and quick to heat up. It turned out very good and maybe even a little TOO rich! Done almost as soon as it takes to cook pasta. The time is probably less, just depends on how long it takes you to chop the veggies.

1 lb macaroni
1/4 cup sun-dried tomato, diced and in olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 cup frozen baby peas
1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
6 ounces light chunk tuna in water
11 1/2 ounces cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Get your pot of water on the stove and bring to boil.
  • While waiting --.
  • In a med sauce pan add your sun dried tomatoes. If you can't find them packed in oil, soak sun dried tomatoes in hot water for 20 minute. Drain and chop into thin strips. Also add a tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Heat on Med high until tomatoes start to just slightly sizzle in oil. Add onions, celery, and garlic. Saute for 3 minutes.
  • Add baby peas, old bay seasoning, black pepper, and italian seasoning. Let cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add drained tuna and lemon juice. Stir and let cook for about 2 minutes before adding can of cream of chicken soup and milk. Stir until completely incorperated and let cook on med for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Make sure to add pasta once water starts to boil. Cook until al dente. Drain.
  • Sauce should be done around the same time as the pasta, if you time it right.
  • As soon as you drain pasta, add sauce and pour into a serving / baking dish.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the top and it's ready to serve.
