QUICK AND TASTY SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS
I make this using my "Chelle's Famous Turkey Meatballs". This is one of my family's favorites...even my husband's family (mother-in-law and her friends, sister-in-law, brother-in-laws, etc.) All seem to like these. I like to serve them with my Crab Wontons as an appetizer when serving to guests. ;) They go great in a crockpot for parties, bbq's, potlucks, etc. and I am usually requested to bring them!! Amounts can vary depending on number of meatballs you make, as will times. ;)

EASY BAKED SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS
A super quick 'home-made' sweet and sour sauce with tasty meatballs that are baked in the oven. Serve with rice or over warm noodles as a main meal. Alternatively serve them as a party food with cocktail forks or toothpicks. It may seem there are a lot of ingredients, but the sauce and meatballs take very little time to prepare. A budget friendly family meal or a great recipe to make for a potluck. You can use recipe #487741 Homemade ponzu sauce posted by GailAnng as a good substitute for the 'ponzu lime citrus dressing and sauce.'

EASIEST SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS
I first tasted these tasty little meatballs at my friend Shirley's house party over 30 years ago. I asked for the recipe and have been making them ever since, sometimes serving them as an appetizer and other times as a meal.

Steps:
- Mix chili sauce, grape jelly, and lemon juice in a medium sized saucepan.
- Sprinkle sugar over all and stir well.
- Cook till mixture liquifies.
- Form little meatballs (about one inch in diameter or larger, if you prefer) and drop into sauce, making sure you don't splash as it will be hot. (If you moisten your hands with water or oil the meat will not adhere to your hands as readily). Cover.
- Cook for 1/2 hour, but after 15 minutes, taste sauce and adjust, if necessary.
- These can be served with their sauce on a bed of noodles, or placed on a platter with tootpicks for appetizers without their sauce.
- Very tasty, easy and quick to make.
