This is a refreshing salad with a very light dressing. The radishes add nice color.

- Combine canola oil, sugar, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, onion, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic, and paprika in a jar. Close and shake jar until dressing is well mixed.
- Place salad greens in a large bowl. Pour in half of the dressing; toss to mix. Arrange mandarin oranges, grape tomatoes, almonds, Gorgonzola cheese, and green onions on top.

My mom always made this salad for Christmas dinner, so it's been a family favorite for many years. I teach special education at the high school level and often incorporate cooking into my lessons. Whenever we make this recipe at school, it's always a hit with the students.
