Quick Microwave Nachos Recipes
MICROWAVE NACHOS FOR ONE RECIPE
Steps:
- Place chips on a microwave-safe plate in a single layer. Microwave on high power until they smell nice and toasty, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Remove from microwave and top each chip with 1 teaspoon of beans, a little shredded cheese, and a jalapeño slice. Return to microwave and cook for 30 seconds. Continue to cook in 15-second intervals until all the cheese is melted and bubbly. Eat and repeat as necessary.

MICROWAVE NACHOS
I made this for Super Bowl Sunday. It was super quick and no one could tell the difference between those that took longer in the oven. My new favorite way to make nachos. :)

Steps:
- 1. Prepare ground beef and taco seasoning according to package directions. Be sure to drain off as much grease as possible when browning the meat.
- 2. Meanwhile, put tortilla chips on a large microwave-safe platter. Sprinkle with meat mixture. Dab on refried beans. Sprinkle on cheeses, onion, and jalapeños.
- 3. Microwave at medium (50% power) about 2 minutes. Watch carefully. Microwave just until the cheeses loose shape and start to run together and nachos are steaming.
- 4. Carefully remove from microwave. Let stand one minute and serve with sour cream or salsa on the side. Plate will be HOT!
