EASY SPICY MISO RAMEN NOODLES



Easy Spicy Miso Ramen Noodles image

Spicy Miso Ramen is one of my favorite Ramen Noodles. It'll be ready in less than 30 minutes - better than the one from the restaurant.

Provided by Izzy

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 packages ramen noodles
3 tablespoons miso paste
2 teaspoons chili bean paste
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons grated ginger
1 shallot minced
1/4 lb ground pork
2 cups chicken stock
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 green onions
salt and pepper to taste
2 soft-boiled eggs

Steps:

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic, ginger, and shallot, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute, stirring frequently.
  • Add ground pork, and stir-fry until no longer pink.
  • Add chili bean paste and miso paste.
  • Add chicken stock, soy sauce, and green onions.
  • Cover and bring to a boil. Remove the lid, lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Cook ramen noodles al dente according to the instructions on the package.
  • Drain completely and divide the noodles into 2 bowls.
  • Pour the ramen soup on top of the noodles, and add toppings such as soft-boiled eggs. Serve and enjoy!

2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 lb boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
2 cups water
1 package (3 oz) Oriental-flavor ramen noodle soup mix
1 pkg (1 lb) fresh stir-fry vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, celery, carrots, snow pea pods and bell peppers) (4 cups)
1/4 cup stir-fry sauce

Steps:

  • In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add beef; cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown. Remove beef from skillet.
  • In same skillet, heat water to boiling. Break block of noodles from soup mix into water; stir until slightly softened. Stir in vegetables. Heat to boiling. Boil 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • Stir in contents of seasoning packet from soup mix, the stir-fry sauce and beef. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until hot. Serve in individual bowls.

  • In a medium saucepan, melt butterscotch chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in chow mein noodles and peanuts.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto foil. Let stand until cool.

There are so many interesting ideas on how to use ramen noodles. I thought this one might be fun to play with!

4 (3 ounce) packets ramen noodles, uncooked
1 (16 ounce) bag dark chocolate chips
12 -14 drops peppermint extract
1 -2 drop spear mint extract
1 -2 drop wintergreen extract
24 lollipop sticks or 24 popcicle sticks
1/2 teaspoon butter (optional)

Steps:

  • Crush uncooked ramen noodles in a bowl to about the consistency of rice krispies. Don't crush finer or the recipe does not set. Set aside.
  • Lay out some wax paper.
  • In a saucepan or double boiler, melt your chocolate chips until then become smooth and creamy.
  • If desired add butter.
  • Slowly add mint extracts to the chocolate.
  • Stir for 1 minute.
  • Quickly pour over your crushed ramen and stir vigorously until covered completely.
  • Spoon mixture in tablespoons onto wax paper into round cookie shapes... mixture will flatten and spread considerable so leave lots of space in between.
  • Place a stick into each cookie before it hardens.
  • Let cool for about an hour.
  • Peel, and eat.
  • Cook time is cooling time.

Steps:

  • (1)Break up your noodles until they're roughly the size of a cold breakfast cereal. (2)add the peanut butter until you get a consistancy you like. Less PB would result in a drier, but crunchier product.
