DUMP CAKES
The Food Network's Pioneer Woman shares two recipes for crowd-pleasing dump cakes.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- For the cherry-pineapple dump cake: Dump the cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple into a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Stir together. Sprinkle the cake mix over the top of the fruit. Slice the butter into tablespoons and distribute evenly over the surface of the cake mix.
- For the peach dump cake: Dump the peaches into a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the cake mix over the top of the fruit. Slice the butter into tablespoons and distribute evenly over the surface of the cake mix.
- Bake until the tops are brown and bubbly, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream.
RHUBARB DUMP CAKE
A "delicious" dump cake! Main ingredients are: rhubarb, a yellow cake mix, & either raspberry or strawberry gelatin.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line the bottom of an ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking pan with the rhubarb.
- Sprinkle sugar over the rhubarb.
- Sprinkle dry raspberry gelatin, ( or strawberry gelatin ) which ever you prefer; over the sugar.
- Next, sprinkle the cake mix over the gelatin.
- Melt butter; pour over the cake mix.
- Pour the 1 cup of water over cake mix.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
- Cool completely; then chill in refrigerator.
- When ready to serve, invert onto plate.
- Top with either vanilla ice cream or Cool Whip.
- Serves 12 to 16.
- Note: If using frozen rhubarb, reduce the amount of water to 1/2 cup.
- This cake was baked in a gas oven.
- If baking in an electric oven, you may need to increase baking time; depending upon oven and altitude.
- Chef sheerkerry baked hers in an electric oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
BLUEBERRY DUMP CAKE
By definition, dump cakes are simple and fuss-free to make. Try this recipe using fresh blueberries and cake mix for a dessert everyone will love.

APPLE RASPBERRY DUMP CAKE

- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Pour your pie fillings into a 9x13-inch pan, mix them together, then spread them out so it covers the bottom of the pan.
- Sprinkle cake mix over the pie filling.
- Drizzle melted butter over top of the cake mix.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
BLACK-RASPBERRY CRUMB CAKE
Black or red raspberries (or both!) are tossed into a rich cake batter for the base of this fruit dessert. A buttery crumb topping is generously sprinkled on top and the whole thing is baked until golden brown and the berries burst with their sweet juices. - Make the cake: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9-inch square pan and line with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang. Butter parchment; set pan aside. Combine milk and lemon juice; let stand 15 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter, zest, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat to combine. Add the flour mixture in three additions, alternating with the milk mixture and beginning and ending with the flour.
- Place berries in a bowl and gently toss with remaining tablespoon flour. Fold half of the berries into the batter, then transfer batter to prepared pan. Evenly distribute remaining berries over the surface of the batter.
- Make the crumb topping: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt; using your hands, work in butter.
- Sprinkle crumb topping over berries, using your fingers to clump some of the topping together to form large crumbs. Transfer to oven and bake until top of cake is golden and a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.
- Let cool in pan on a wire rack for about 30 minutes. Loosen cake from the sides of the pan with an offset spatula or a knife. Using parchment overhang, lift cake out of pan and transfer to a rack to cool completely (still on paper). On a cutting board, use a serrated knife to cut into squares. Cake may be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY DUMP CAKE RECIPE - (4/5)

- In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, milk, and cocoa powder. Stir until combined. Pour 1/2 the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Spread raspberry pie filling evenly on top of 1/2 the cake batter. Spread remaining cake batter over pie filling. Bake in preheated oven, 350, for about 35 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Warm up the hot fudge and lightly drizzle desired amount on top of cake. Serve!! Can serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

My Aunt Kaye would make this every summer. It smells so good when it is cooking. She also use many different combinations of fresh fruit and flavored gelatin. Be creative and try it out.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
- Spread berries evenly in bottom of pan. In small bowl, mix sugar, ginger and lemon peel; sprinkle over berries. Drizzle lemon juice over top.
- Top with dry cake mix; gently shake pan to distribute evenly
- Pour melted butter over top, tilting pan to cover as much of the top with butter as possible. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until top is light golden brown, mostly dry on top and bubbly around edges. Cool 15 minutes before serving. Top individual servings with ice cream.
