Another great cake recipe, I found this site with all the cake recipes and I thought it would be nice to pass them on to you, I have been baking a lot, and passing them on. This household ca'n't manage it all - lol

Steps:
- In a bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and 1/8 tsp salt. Add buttermilk, shortening, and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl occasionally.
- Add egg whites and beat for 2 minutes more, scraping bowl.
- Pour in 10oz bag Reese's chips - stir with spoon. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9x 1 1/2 inch round baking pans.
- Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool on wire racks for 10 minutes. Loosen sides and remove from pans. Cool thoroughly on wire racks.

- Place the first cake layer onto a serving plate. Scoop 1 cup of frosting onto the first layer and spread it out. Repeat steps with remaining cake layers. Frost top and sides too.Scoop remaining frosting into a piping bag with a star tip ,and set aside
