- Place the mint & cloves in the water, bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, add the tea, steep for 10 - 15 minutes, strain immediately dissolve sugar in the hot tea. Stir in the fruit juices, Refrigerate after it has become room teperature.

- Using an electric coffee maker, Place the 3 tea bags in the strainer basket (not in the pot). Brew the tea as you would coffee. Pour the sugar in a gallon pitcher. Pour in the hot tea. Continue to run coffee maker with the tea bags until you have enough tea to fill the pitcher. Allow to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate.

ELECTRIC ICED TEA
I got this from the bartender at my favorite restaurant. He serves the best mojito (mango majito in particular), but this is my all-time favorite drink. It differs from the Long Island Iced Tea in that it doesn't have tequila. Some bartenders make this drink using 7-Up instead of Coke, but I usually make it at home using Diet Coke.

2011-06-15 Place mint, cloves, and water in a 1½-gallon kettle, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Turn off heat. Add tea, and steep 15 minutes. Strain mixture, and discard solids. Add sugar, and stir to dissolve. Add juices. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving to blend flavors. Serve over ice, and garnish with fresh mint.
