Avocados are among the healthiest and best-tasting foods you can eat. But who wants to just eat them plain? This "salsamole"-a Mexican mix-marries salsa and guacamole into one flavorful spread in just one simple step.

1 cup salsa
4 smashed avocados
2 Tbsp lime juice
2 Tbsp chopped cilantro

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients in one bowl.

3 jalapeno peppers, minced, or to taste
2 serrano peppers, minced, or to taste
1 habanero pepper, minced, or to taste
¾ yellow onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced, or to taste
3 avocados - peeled, pitted, and cubed
3 Roma tomatoes, chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 lemon, juiced
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil, or to taste

Steps:

  • Combine the jalapeno peppers, serrano peppers, habanero pepper, onion, garlic, avocados, Roma tomatoes, diced tomatoes, and lemon juice into a food processor. Drizzle in the olive oil; season to taste with salt and pepper. Pulse until the salsamole has reached your desired consistency.
