2 tubes Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 1/2 cups hickory barbeque sauce
1 package ready-made chicken strips
chopped
6 slices of cooked bacon
crumbled
2 cups cheddar or colby jack cheese
shredded
1 cup ranch dressing
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon scallions
chopped
1 sandwich-size resealable bag

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375F
  • Roll the crescent rolls out and place them on a cookie sheet
  • Pinch 2 sheets together in the middle to create 1 large dough
  • Bake 8-11 minutes, until golden brown
  • Remove from oven and turn on broiler
  • Spread the barbeque sauce over dough
  • Sprinkle the chicken, bacon and cheese over the top
  • Place the cookie sheet under the broiler until the cheese melts, about 3-5 minutes
  • Combine the ranch dressing and chili powder in a small bowl
  • Pour into re-sealable bag and cut off a small tip at the end of the bag to make a pastry bag
  • Drizzle the dressing over the top and garnish with the scallions
  • Cut into squares and enjoy!

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
6 tablespoons butter
4 cups cooked cubed boneless chicken
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 tablespoons milk
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 (8 ounce) cans crescent rolls

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and set aside 2 T. for later.
  • Blend softened cream cheese and remaining butter until smooth. Add all but last two ingredients and stir together.
  • Separate crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles and pinch together the perforations between triangles in each.
  • Spoon 1/8 of meat mixture into center of each rectangle. For each, pull the 4 corners of dough together at the top and twist. Seal edges by pinching dough together.
  • Use reserved butter to brush each stuffed square, then sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 25-30 minutes, until lightly browned.

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups cooked cubed boneless chicken or 2 (5 ounce) cans boneless chicken
1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped olive (optional)
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
3/4 cup crushed crouton

Steps:

  • Blend cream cheese with 2 Tbsp butter until smooth.
  • Add next five ingredients and mix well.
  • Spoon 1/2 C meat mixture onto 2"triangles" of dough.
  • (don't separate, so you actually have a "square") Pull 4 corners to the top, center of mixture and twist slightly and seal edges by pinching.
  • Brush tops with remaining butter and sprinkle with croutons Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20-25 minutes in a 350* oven until golden brown.
