2 lbs cube steaks, cut into serving size pieces
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup minced onion
2 cups water

Steps:

  • Cover the steak with Worcestershire sauce; let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Mix the flour with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Heat oil in 12 inch skillet.
  • Remove steaks from Worcestershire sauce; dip in flour mixture.
  • Brown steaks on both sides for 6 minutes.
  • Add onions; cook 2 minutes.
  • Add water; bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

1 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
4 beef cube steaks (5 ounces each)

Steps:

  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the soy sauce, garlic and onion; add cube steaks. Seal bag; turn to coat. Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes, turning once. , Discard marinade. Place steaks on a greased broiler pan. Broil 4 in. from the heat for 4 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness.

1 cup plain dry bread crumbs
2 teaspoons taco seasoning mix
1 pinch Salt and pepper
3 tablespoons garlic-flavored or plain olive oil
1 sprig Chopped fresh cilantro
¾ cup prepared ranch dressing
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 ½ teaspoons taco seasoning mix

Steps:

  • Combine sauce ingredients in small saucepan; set aside.
  • Combine bread crumbs, 2 teaspoons taco seasoning and salt and pepper on waxed paper. Brush both sides of beef steaks lightly with some of the oil. Dip into crumb mixture to coat both sides; press coating into steaks.
  • Heat remaining oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium to medium-high heat until hot. Place steaks in skillet; cook 6 to 8 minutes or until cooked through, turning occasionally. Meanwhile heat sauce over low heat just until warmed. Serve steaks immediately with sauce. Garnish with cilantro.

4 beef ribeye steaks (3/4 inch thick and 8 ounces each)
1/4 cup butter
1 large onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. In batches, brown steaks, 1-2 minutes on each side. Remove from pan; set aside., In same skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender, 3-5 minutes. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in broth., Return steaks to pan; cook 4 minutes. Brush tops with mustard; turn and cook until steaks reach desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), 3-6 minutes longer. Season with salt and pepper to taste; sprinkle with parsley.
