PIZZA PASTA BAKE WITH SAUSAGE
This versatile one-dish pasta bake uses your favorite pizza ingredients like bell pepper, sausage, pepperoni, and olives--and you can use your family's favorite pasta shapes.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
- While pasta is cooking, cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until just lightly pink. Add green bell pepper and onion to the sausage. Continue cooking until the meat is cooked through. Add the pepperoni, olives, cream cheese, and sauce. Cook over low heat until heated through and cheese has melted.
- When pasta is done, drain and return to the pot. Stir the sausage mixture into the pasta; stir to coat the pasta.
- Add half of the pasta mixture to prepared baking dish. Top with half of the mozzarella cheese. Spread the remaining pasta over the cheese and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with the Italian seasoning and place a few pepperoni slices on top, if you like.
- Bake until the cheese has melted and the pasta is heated through, about 15 minutes.

Steps:
- In a Dutch oven, cook sausage, mushrooms, green pepper and onion over medium heat 5-6 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink and vegetables are tender, breaking up sausage into crumbles; drain., Stir in pasta, pizza sauce, water, Italian seasoning and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 10-15 minutes or until pasta is tender. Remove from heat; sprinkle with cheese. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Steps:
- Set oven to 375 degrees.
- Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Break the uncooked spaghetti in thirds.
- Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until JUST al dente; strain then toss with 2 tablespoons butter.
- Spread warm pasta into the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a bowl combine milk, eggs, garlic salt and black pepper until well combined; pour over the spaghetti.
- Sprinkle 1-1/2 cups (or to taste) mozzarella cheese over the milk mixture.
- Sprinkle about 1/3 to 1/2 cup parmesan cheese on top of the mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven then drizzle with the spaghetti sauce.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage meat over the sauce; return to oven for about 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated through.
- Sprinkle with about 1-1/2 cups mozzarella cheese and return to oven for 3-4 minutes or until melted.

- Divide dough in half. With greased fingers, pat each half onto an ungreased 12-in. pizza pan. Prick dough thoroughly with a fork. Bake at 400° until lightly browned, 10-12 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain., Spread pizza sauce over crusts. Top with cheese, onion, green pepper, mushrooms and sausage. - Heat up a 2-liter pot and pour in a little olive oil. Put onion and sausage in the pot once the pot is heated up. Add red pepper flakes and black pepper.
- Once the sausage is seared, pour in 3 cans of crushed tomatoes. Pour in ½ cup of water. Add the minced cloves of garlic. Add oregano and 1 tablespoon basil. Let cook on low heat for an hour and a half.
- Heat up some water to a rapid boil in another pot. Add the penne pasta. Once cooked strain the pasta.
- Serve both pasta and sauce into a shallow bowl with a sausage half and top with Parmesan and basil.

- Heat oven to 425°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray. Do not unroll dough; cut rolled dough into 12 pieces; place in muffin cups. Let rest 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in 10-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage; cook 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink. Using slotted spoon, transfer to small bowl.
- Add onion and salt to oil in skillet; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until softened. Add mushrooms; increase heat to medium-high, and cook 4 to 6 minutes longer or until mushrooms release liquid and brown. Remove from heat.
- Stir in cooked sausage and 1/2 cup of the pizza sauce. Cool 5 minutes. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the cheese.
- Meanwhile, press pizza dough into cups, pressing firmly up sides. Divide sausage mixture evenly among cups.
- Bake 11 to 14 minutes or until crusts are browned and cooked through. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Let stand 1 minute. Run knife around outside of each cup. Warm remaining 1/2 cup pizza sauce, and serve with cups. Top with basil.

- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil, add a generous amount of salt, and cook pasta 2 minutes less than the package instructions.
- Strain pasta and set aside. Toss with a small amount of oil to prevent sticking
- In the same pot, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil and fry sausages, working in batches as needed, until deeply browned on all sides.
- Remove sausages, slice in ¾-inch (2 cm) rings, and set aside.
- Sauté all of the bell peppers, onion, and garlic for about 2 minutes.
- Add the canned tomatoes, all of the spices, and the sausage slices to the pot.
- Simmer about 10 minutes.
- Add the pasta back to the pot and stir gently until all the ingredients are coated in the sauce. Continue simmering until pasta is al dente.
- Serve with grated parmesan.
