1 tablespoon butter
1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 pound crabmeat
1 (8 ounce) package seashell pasta
2 strips celery, sliced
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 green onion, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup slivered, toasted almonds
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
½ teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning TM

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and saute shrimp until pink. Add crabmeat and cook one more minute or until heated through. Set aside.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • Transfer the shrimp and crabmeat to a large mixing bowl and let cool to room temperature. Stir in pasta, celery, bell pepper and green onion. Add mozzarella cheese, slivered toasted almonds, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with parsley, and old bay seasoning. Toss to mix thoroughly.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

½ cup mayonnaise
1 stalk celery, diced
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

Steps:

  • Break the imitation crab into bite-size chunks or chop with a knife; place in a large bowl.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and gently toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Steps:

  • Combine seafood in a bowl, cover and refrigerate. Put into a large salad bowl the lettuce, celery, walnuts, radishes, and green onions. Chill 1 hour. When ready to serve, dice the avocado. Drizzle with lemon juice and toss lightly. Add avocado to salad bowl along with seafood, eggs, and tomatoes. Combine the mayonnaise, cream, salt, and pepper. Pour over salad ingredients and toss lightly.

I came across this recipe years ago in an old church cookbook. It's so good, I've even served it for Christmas Eve dinner.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup diced green pepper
3 tablespoons butter, divided
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound fresh or canned crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed or 1 cup imitation crabmeat, flaked
1/3 cup mayonnaise
Dash hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
Dash paprika

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, saute onion and green pepper in 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in flour until blended; gradually stir in the milk. Add chili powder and salt. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in the crab, mayonnaise and hot pepper sauce., Transfer to a greased shallow 1-qt. baking dish. Melt the remaining butter and toss with bread crumbs. Sprinkle over crab mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with paprika.

1/2 cup minced green onions

1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons celery seed
SAUCE:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup chili sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 cups shredded lettuce
4 hard-boiled large eggs, sliced
4 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the crab, vegetables and seasonings. Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, chili sauce and lemon juice; pour over salad and gently toss to coat. , Arrange lettuce on four individual plates or serving plate. This recipe is from a book my grandmother gave me. The front cover is missing so I'm not sure of the name of the book. My family all love this recipe. It's great for dinner on a cold winter's night. I serve it with creamed potatoes and crusty bread.

100 g butter
4 tablespoons plain flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pinch cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
400 ml milk
1 (454 g) can canned tuna (I prefer salmon) or 1 (454 g) can canned salmon (I prefer salmon)
1/4 cup cream or 1/4 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup tomato soup
breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan; stir in flour, salt, cayenne, curry, sauces, and then gradually add the milk.
  • Stir while bringing to the boil; simmer 3 minutes.
  • Add fish, soup and cream.
  • Heat through and then pour into a casserole dish.
  • Top with breadcrumbs and brown under grill or in the oven.

7 ounces tuna
6 ounces crabmeat
6 ounces shrimp
2 cups medium white sauce
1/4 lb cubed cheese

1 (4 ounce) jar pimientos
1/4 cup onion, grated
1 cup dried breadcrumbs
1 cup butter

Steps:

  • Gently mix all ingredients except crumbs and butter.
  • Place in casserole dish and cover with crumbs and butter.
  • Bake for 45 minutes at 350.
