2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 to 3 tablespoons dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon hot chili oil
2 tablespoons rice or white wine vinegar

Steps:

  • Place the sesame paste in a mixing bowl. Beat in the sesame oil, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, chili oil and vinegar. Correct seasoning and serve.

  • Mix in the scallions and the red wine vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
4 teaspoons sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
3 packages (8 ounces each) reduced-fat cream cheese
1 jar (10 ounces) sweet-and-sour sauce
2 cups chopped fresh baby spinach
1 cup thinly sliced green onions (about 8)
1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts
Sesame rice crackers

Steps:

  • Mix soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic; toss with chicken. Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour., Spread cream cheese onto a large serving plate; top with sweet-and-sour-sauce, spinach and chicken. Sprinkle with green onions and peanuts. Refrigerate, covered, at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers.

Steps:

2 tablespoons soy sauce
4 teaspoons sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced, divided
4 cups cooked diced chicken breast
3 (8 ounce) packages reduced-fat cream cheese
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro, divided
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup salted peanuts, chopped
8 medium green onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon sweet chile sauce

Steps:

  • Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and 2 cloves of garlic in a large bowl. Add cooked chicken and toss to coat. Refrigerate and marinate for 1 hour.
  • Combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup cilantro, remaining garlic, and salt in another bowl; beat with an electric mixer until creamy.
  • Spread dip onto a large serving platter and top with marinated chicken. Sprinkle chicken with peanuts, green onions, and remaining cilantro, and drizzle sweet chile sauce over top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
12 chicken wings, divided at joints (discard tips)
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/3 cup sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F
  • Mix all the honey dip ingredients well. Refrigerate or set aside to serve at room temperature.
  • CHICKEN: Mix mayo, ground mustard, onion and garlic powder in a medium bowl. Add chicken pieces, mixing to coat, and set aside.
  • Mix crumbs and sesame seeds together in another bowl (or a plastic grocery bag for ease).
  • Coat chicken pieces (one at a time) with the breadcrumb mixture and place them onto baking sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes or until done and lightly brown. Serve with honey dipping sauce.
  • TO TOAST SESAME SEEDS: Place seeds in a non-stick saute' pan over medium heat. Heat, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until seeds are toasted. Do not walk away as once they begin to brown, they do so rather quickly.

4 slices thick white bread, crusts removed and cubed
1 tablespoon tahini
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 lemon, juice of
175 ml olive oil
2 tablespoons fromage frais
2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted

Steps:

  • Sprinkle the bread cubes with water and squeeze well.
  • Place bread, tahini and garlic in a processor and blend until smooth.
  • Once smooth leave machine running and drizzle in oil until a thick paste is formed.
  • Stir in fromage frais and lemon juice and place in serving bowl.
  • Serve with olives, toasted pittas or vegetable crudités.
  • for a lighter version replace 1/2 the olive oil with plain yoghurt.
