Steps:
- Shake vodka, sherry, and orange juice with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.

- Put sugar in a small tumbler with just enough water to dissolve. Add the liquor or wine and ice, stir well and top with a little grated nutmeg. The drink may be varied by adding club soda to fill a large tumbler and floating 3 tablespoons of port on top, followed by the usual dusting of nutmeg.
