Steps:
- Heat grill or grill pan to high.
- Mix sugar and steak seasoning. Pat steaks dry. Coat completely on both sides with sugar and spice blend. Wash up. Spray grill or grill pan and cook steaks 10 to 16 minutes, medium rare to medium well doneness. Let stand 5 minutes for juices to redistribute and serve.

- Cut steak into 4 pieces.
- Heat lg skillet; brown steaks in oil for 5 minutes a side.
- Remove and keep warm.
- Add onion and mushrooms.
- Saute for 3 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Serve steak with sauce spooned over.

- In a Dutch oven, brown beef in oil in batches. Remove and keep warm. Add sausage and onion to the pan; cook and stir over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. , Return beef to the pan; stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1-3/4 to 2 hours or until beef is tender.

My in-laws raise beef for all their children, so I'm always looking for new ways to cook steak. This is an absolute favorite. It's so easy to fix, and the result is a tender steak smothered in a creamy onion and mushroom sauce. The aroma alone makes my husband's mouth water!

- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine 2 tablespoons flour, salt, pepper and paprika; add beef and toss to coat. In a skillet, brown beef on all sides in oil. Add the onion, mushrooms, garlic, 1/2 cup water, brown sugar, soy sauce and mustard; cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until meat is tender. Remove meat to a serving platter and keep warm., Combine remaining flour and water until smooth; stir into skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat; stir in sour cream. Heat gently (do not boil). Serve beef and sauce over noodles.

This is favorite in our family. Even the vegetarians drool over this one! What's not to love? The tomatoes and beef slow cooked together with mushrooms (optional) is just heaven...then the sour cream finish...my oh my. Made this up after 2 glasses of Cabernet...see what I'm saying?

Steps:
- Dredge sirloin in flour.
- Brown sirloin in 1/2 the butter in skillet over medium-high heat (in batches). Use other half of butter as necessary to brown meat. Use all the butter.
- Remove meat and add onions, and mushrooms. Add tomatoes, sherry and salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover for an hour or hour and a half until meat is so yummy and tender.
- Remove from heat, stir in sour cream and adjust seasonings --
- Serve over egg noodles or rice.
