JENNIE'S HEAVENLY SLOW COOKER CHICKEN
This is the best chicken slow cooker recipe ever, and I've tried a lot of them. I can't remember where I originally got it from; my version has been tweaked a little. I don't like mushrooms, but the mushrooms in the condensed soup are really big and easy to take out. Serve over hot cooked rice.

- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, and stir in the salad dressing mix, mushroom soup, cream cheese, and wine until the sauce mixture is hot, smooth and well combined. Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of a slow cooker, and pour the sauce mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on Low setting until chicken is tender, about 4 hours.

- Spray 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix broth, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper flakes.
- Stir in chicken. Cover; cook on High heat setting 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until chicken is cooked through (at least 165°F). Stir in pasta and tomatoes. Cover; cook on High heat setting 25 to 30 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring twice.
- Stir in cream cheese and Parmesan cheese until cheeses melt. Stir in spinach until wilted. Let stand covered 5 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir before serving.

Steps:
- Cook pasta according to package.
- Drain and place in flameproof dish with the chopped meat, the vegetables & 1-2tsp. oil.
- Melt butter in a sauce pan, stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring.
- Remove from the heat, & gradually stir in the milk.
- Return to heat, bring to the boil, stirring and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add 1/2 the cheese, the mustard, and seasoning to taste.
- Spoon the sauce over the meat and vegetables.
- Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and grill/broil quickly until golden and bubbling.

- Mix soup, dressing mix and gravy mix together in a small bowl. Set aside. Heat a large skillet over medium-hight heat. Add oil and heat through. Add the chicken parts and brown well on all sides. Remove from pan and add the chicken to the crock pot (4-6 quart). Spread the soup mixture over the chicken parts. Deglaze the pan with the water (scrape up all the browned bits from the chicken). Add this liquid to the crock pot. Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours, high 3-5 hours. TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE! All cookers cook differently. Remove chicken and stir the gravy. Pour gravy over chicken or serve separately so everyone can add their own.

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in the package of dressing mix. Blend in wine and golden mushroom soup. Mix in cream cheese, and stir until smooth. Heat through, but do not boil. Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour sauce over.
- Bake for 60 minutes in the preheated oven. Twenty minutes before the chicken is done, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Cook pasta until al dente, about 5 minutes. Drain. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta.

SLOW COOKER CHICKEN AND PASTA
This is my version of a recipe I have had for years. I have no idea where I got the original recipe but I have made so many changes that I re-named it. Also the serving amounts are just estimates because my family of 4 eats large portions compared to the average family. The milk or chicken broth in the recipe are optional because the soup mixture may be the desired consistency if the chicken makes enough of its own juice.

Steps:
- Mix together soups, mushrooms and onion.
- Season with salt, pepper and garlic to taste.
- Place in slow cooker.
- Place chicken breast on top of the soup mixture, season with salt, pepper, garlic and Tony's.
- Cook on high for 4- 5 hours, or low for 8- 10 hours.
- Cook noodles as directed and add to slow cooker at the last 20 minutes of cooking time.
- At this time add the butter if using.
- **If the mixture is thicker than you want it to be this is the time you add the milk or chicken broth to thin it to your desired consistency.
