Super easy Slow Cooker Pork Loin Roast with Honey Garlic Sauce is a slow braised dinner that's tender and juicy.

4 lb pork loin roast
1 cup honey
1 cup soy sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 cup chicken stock (or beef stock)

Steps:

  • Place the pork in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, hoisin, fish sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger and stock.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the pork and cover with the lid.
  • Cook the pork on high for 4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
  • Transfer the pork to a platter and keep warm.
  • Pour the remaining sauce in the slow cooker into a small saucepan and bring to a boil on the stover over medium heat.
  • Cook the sauce for 5 minutes or until reduced by half.
  • Slice the pork into 1 inch thick slices and serve with the sauce.

1.75 - 2.5 kg / 3.5 - 5lb pork loin OR shoulder/boston butt ( ,or scotch fillet, skinless (Note 1))
1.5 tbsp olive oil (, separated)
2 tsp EACH paprika, thyme
1 tsp EACH garlic powder, onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (, optional)
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp salt
3/4 cup honey
125g / 1/2 cup butter (, unsalted)
5 cloves garlic (, minced)
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt and pepper (, each)
3 tsp cornflour/cornstarch mixed with splash of water

Steps:

  • Spice Rub: Rub pork with about 1 tsp oil. Mix Rub together then sprinkle over pork. Pat to adhere all over.
  • Brown: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pork and sear all around until deep golden brown (don't let spices burn). Place pork in slow cooker.
  • Honey Butter Sauce: Wipe pan. Add butter and melt. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until golden. Add remaining Sauce ingredients, mix, simmer rapidly for 30 seconds.

1 cup soy sauce, plus 2 tbsp, divided
¼ cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons garlic, chopped
¼ cup scallions, chopped
2 lb boneless, skin-on pork shoulder
1 bunch asparagus, halved
6 yukon potatoes, diced
2 tablespoons olive oil
kosher salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 cup dark brown sugar
½ cup honey

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 cup (240 ml) of the soy sauce with the sugar, garlic, and scallions, stirring until mixed.
  • Score the skin of the pork by slicing a crosshatch pattern through the skin down to the meat. This will help excess fat render out and allow more of the marinade to soak in.
  • Place the pork in the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for one hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 275ºF (140°C).
  • On a baking sheet, place the asparagus halves to the right and diced potatoes to the left. Toss the vegetables with the oil, salt, and pepper. Place the marinated pork in the middle of the baking sheet.
  • Bake 1 to 1 ½ hours, depending on the weight of the pork.
  • Raise the heat of the oven to 500ºF (260ºC).
  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, honey, and remaining soy sauce, stirring until smooth.
  • Spoon the honey glaze over the top of the pork, making sure to fill the cracks and crevices on top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until sugar is dark brown and caramelized, and the top of the pork is crispy.
  • Remove the vegetables and pork from the tray, making sure to save all the juices.
  • Slice the pork into ½-inch (2 ½ cm) slices, and plate with the roasted vegetables. Spoon the reserved pan juices on top of the pork.

I promise that this recipe is delicious! My husband even said that this is one of his favorite Sunday dinners. I also made mashed potatoes and the gravy was delicious on them. Use roast between 2 to 3 pounds.

1 (3 pound) boneless pork roast
⅔ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup honey
3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons dried basil
2 tablespoons minced garlic

2 tablespoons cornstarch
¼ cup cold water

Steps:

  • Prepare slow cooker crock with cooking spray. Lay pork roast into crock.
  • Whisk Parmesan cheese, honey, soy sauce, basil, garlic, oil, and salt together in a small bowl; pour over the pork roast.
  • Cook until roast is cooked completely through, 6 to 7 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Remove roast to a cutting board to rest a few minutes.
  • Skim fat from the cooking juices; discard. Ladle remaining juice to a small saucepan; bring to a boil.

1 (3 pound) pork loin roast
salt and ground black pepper to taste
20 cloves garlic, peeled
1 cup diced onion
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
¼ cup honey

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season pork with salt and pepper. Place pork in the hot skillet and sear until brown on all sides, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer pork to a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Add garlic cloves to the skillet. Cook, stirring often, over medium-high heat until brown, about 5 minutes. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle flour over garlic and onion and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
