Slow cooker pulled pork is the tastiest recipe for your slow cooker! Pork shoulder that's slow roasted is so tender and juicy it literally falls apart on its own.

4 1/2 pounds pork shoulder
2 tablespoons paprika
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 yellow onion (diced)
4 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 orange (juiced)

Steps:

  • Place the diced onion, garlic and orange juice in your slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl, mix all of the spices together.
  • Trim all excess fat from the pork shoulder, then rub the spice mixture generously around the entire pork shoulder and place in the slow cooker.
  • Turn your slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hours.
  • Once your pork is fully cooked, remove it from the slow cooker to a plate or cutting board and use two forks to shred the pork.

Low and slow makes the best pulled pork, and here's a recipe to do it in your slow cooker! If you don't follow the keto way of eating, simply add the barbecue sauce of your choice and about 1/4 cup brown sugar to the rub. I used my barbecue recipe published on this site, because it has no sugar. We really enjoyed this. Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.

2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground ancho chile powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (4 pound) boneless pork shoulder
½ cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
½ cup keto barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Combine smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, garlic powder, chile powder, and black pepper in a small bowl. Rub spice mixture all over the surface of the pork shoulder.
  • Place seasoned pork in a slow cooker. Add broth and liquid smoke.
  • Cover and cook on Low until pork is cooked through, 7 to 8 hours. Remove pork from slow cooker and shred.
  • Pour liquid from the slow cooker in a 2-quart saucepan, add barbecue sauce, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, over medium-high heat. Cook until liquid has reduced to about 1/2 cup, 7 to 8 minutes. Pour over shredded pork and mix to combine.

A truly easy, foolproof recipe for slow cooker pulled pork with a homemade bbq sauce.

3 lb. pork butt roast
7 oz tomato paste ((3/4 cup))
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon smoked salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon stevia glycerite ((or 2 tablespoons honey))

Steps:

  • Place the pork in your slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce ingredients. Pour over the pork and use your hands to make sure the pork is well-coated.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
  • Carefully remove the lid (hot steam will escape). Increase the heat to HIGH. Use two forks to shred the meat and mix it well with the sauce (remove the butcher twine if needed). Cover and cook until slightly thickened, 15-30 more minutes, then serve.

1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 cup prepared yellow mustard
2 teaspoons hot sauce
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons low sugar ketchup
4 tablespoons granulated sugar substitute
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum

Steps:

  • For the pulled pork:.
  • In a small bowl, combine the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, allspice, celery salt, cloves, and mustard powder. Mix well. Rub the spice mixture all over your pork. Add the water to a large crock pot. Place the spice rubbed pork in the pot and cover. Cook on high for four hours, or until tender and falling apart. Remove the meat from the crock pot, leaving the juices behind. Shred the meat with clean hands, or use two forks to "pull" it apart.
  • For the sauce:.
  • Skim the solids and visible fat from the top of the liquid and discard. Add all of the sauce ingredients to the remaining liquid in the crockpot, whisking until smooth. Cover and cook on high for about 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Add the meat back to the sauce and stir until fully coated. Serve hot.
