1 cup 1% chocolate milk
1/2 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
TOPPING:
1 cup strawberry soda
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup seedless strawberry jam
1/4 cup molasses
Whipped cream and sliced fresh strawberries

Steps:

In a large bowl, mix chocolate milk, melted butter and vanilla until well blended. In another bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; gradually mix into chocolate milk mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 3- or 4-qt. slow cooker., For topping, in a small saucepan, combine soda and sugars. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved; remove from heat. Stir in dark chocolate chips, jam and molasses; pour over batter., Cook, covered, on high until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Serve with whipped cream and strawberries.

1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 ½ cups boiling water
1 (6 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O®
16 fluid ounces strawberry flavored carbonated beverage
1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 ½ cups milk
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

Prepare cake according to package instructions for a 9x13 inch pan. remove from oven and poke holes in the cake with a wooden skewer or toothpick.
In a medium bowl, combine boiling water with strawberry gelatin. Stir until dissolved and allow to cool slightly. Pour in the strawberry flavored carbonated beverage. Pour slowly over cake, allowing it to soak in. Refrigerate until cool.
To make the Frosting: In a medium bowl combine pudding and milk. Beat until well blended and thickened. Fold in the thawed whipped topping. Spread on cake. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.

3 cups cold 2% milk
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant cheesecake or vanilla pudding mix
1 package strawberry cake mix (regular size)
1 cup water
3 large eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup canola oil
2 cups toasted coconut marshmallows, quartered
Optional: Strawberry ice cream topping and sliced fresh strawberries

Steps:

In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix 2 minutes. Transfer to a greased 4- or 5-qt. slow cooker. Prepare cake mix batter according to package directions with water, eggs and oil; pour over pudding layer., Cook, covered, on low until edges of cake are golden brown (center will be moist), about 4 hours., Remove slow-cooker insert; sprinkle cake with marshmallows. I have also used a butter cake mix with good results. I have used other brands also. Cooking time does not include overnight refrigeration time.

18 ounces pillsbury moist supreme classic yellow cake mix
1 cup water (for this cake mix)
1/3 cup oil (for this cake mix)
3 eggs (for this cake mix)
2 (3 ounce) boxes strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
1 1/4 cups hot water
1 1/2 cups strawberry soda
3 ounces vanilla instant pudding mix
1 1/4 cups milk
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease bottom of 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray or use shortening and a flour dusting.
Blend cake mix, water, oil and eggs in a large bowl until moistened. Or, make as your cake mix directs if using different cake mix.
Beat with mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Bake cake for 34 to 38 minute Remove from oven and cool.
Dissolve jello in hot water.
Add soda to jello mixture.
When cake has cooled but still warm, poke full of holes with fork. If cake pieces come with fork, just put back on cake.
Pour jello mixture over cake.
Let cool completely.
Mix pudding and milk together until thick. Fold in cool whip.
Spread on cake.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
