2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme ((or 6 sprigs fresh thyme))
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary ((or 1 sprig fresh rosemary))
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 turkey breast tenderloins ((about 1½ pounds))
1 cup chicken broth

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, garlic, herbs, and seasonings until evenly combined.
  • To marinate the turkey, go to the next step, otherwise, see "Cook the Turkey Tenderloins" below.
  • Place the turkey in the bowl (or in a gallon-sized Ziplock bag) with the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 8 hours to allow the flavors to infuse with the turkey tenderloins.
  • Add turkey tenderloins to the slow cooker pot. Pour over the marinade sauce along with the chicken broth. Cook the turkey breast tenderloins on low for 6-8 hours, checking the turkey tenderloin temp after 4 hours.
  • Turkey tenders are done when a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the tenderloin, registers 165 degrees F. Remove the turkey from the crockpot and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

1 pound turkey tenderloins
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon-style prepared mustard
2 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed

Steps:

  • Place the turkey tenderloins in a sealable plastic bag and set aside.
  • In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, mustard and rosemary. Pour over turkey, seal bag and shake to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 4 hours shaking once or twice.
  • Preheat oven on the broiler setting. Remove the turkey from the marinade and place on the rack in the broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from the heat, turning once, for 20 to 22 minutes or until meat is cooked through and when pierced with a fork the juices run clear. Slice and serve with Cranberry Chutney.

1 pinch garlic powder
1 pinch poultry seasoning
½ (10 ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands!®), cut into squares

The store had a deal on those pre-packaged flavored turkey tenderloins, so I picked up a package to experiment with. This was put together with ingredients I had on hand. The tenderloins I got were the Jennie-O Roast Turkey flavor ones, but I think it would work well with plain tenderloins or a turkey breast as well. Also probably good with pork roasts and chicken parts. I didn't salt the turkey because it was pre-flavored, but plain turkey could probably use some salt. I'm guessing on the amount of cranberry sauce, as I used about 3/4 of a can of whole berry sauce. It's a yummy fall dish, though, and would be nice for Thanksgiving, too!

1 medium onion, diced
1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
1/3 cup apple cider
1/3 cup orange juice
1/2-1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Spray a 3 quart crock pot with cooking spray, and put the onions in the bottom.
  • Put the turkey tenderloins in the crock pot.
  • Combine cranberry sauce, apple cider, orange juice, thyme, pepper and salt (if using), and pour over the turkey.
  • Cook on low for 7-9 hours, depending on your crock pot.
