S'MORES-DIPPED APPLES

- Line a baking sheet with waxed paper; generously coat waxed paper with cooking spray. Wash and dry apples; remove stems. Insert pop sticks into apples., In a large heavy saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add marshmallows; stir until melted. Dip apples, one at a time, into warm marshmallow mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Place on prepared baking sheet and refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes., Place graham cracker crumbs in a shallow dish. In top of a double boiler or a metal bowl over barely simmering water, melt chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Dip bottom half of apples in chocolate; dip bottoms in cracker crumbs. Place on baking sheet. Refrigerate until set.

S'MORES CARAMEL APPLES
Steps:
- Wash and dry the apples and remove their stems. Insert a small stick into each apple. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray. Put the caramel bits in a saucepan with 2 tablespoons water and heat on medium-low, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth. Holding the stick, dip each apple into the caramel and place on the prepared baking sheet. Chill until set, 10 to 12 minutes. Put the marshmallow creme in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds until smooth, warm and puffed. Stir well. Dip each apple into the marshmallow mixture and return to the baking sheet. Transfer to the refrigerator to set, about 15 minutes. Put the graham crackers crumbs in a bowl and set aside. Put the almond bark pieces in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each, until completely melted and smooth. Dip each marshmallow-coated caramel apple in the chocolate, and then in the graham cracker crumbs. Return to the baking sheet until set.
S'MORES
Graham crackers with melted marshmallows and chocolate. Prepared over an open flame, this camping favorite is great for the holidays, too. Not recommended for the stove top.

- Break the graham cracker in half. Sandwich the chocolate between the cracker and the hot marshmallow. Allow the marshmallow to cool a moment before eating.

TRIPLE DIPPED S'MORES APPLES!
This classic fall treat gets a delightful boost from marshmallows, white and dark chocolate, plus grahm cracker crumbs. Yum. Great Halloween treat. Adapted from Country Living magazine.

Steps:
- Remove stems and skewer apples by twisting off the stem. If skewer is blunt, sharpen with utility knife.
- Working on a flat surface, firmly grip your apple and push the skewer 2/3 of the way inches If any juice leaks out, blot the fruit with a paper towel before dipping.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows, and stir until melted.
- Dip apples, one at a time, then transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes.
- Then in a double boiler(I just set one pan over another pan with water). over low heat, melt the milk chocolate, stirring contiuously.
- Dip an apple into the chocolate, stopping 2/3 of the way up. Immediately dip the lower third of the apple into a bowl of crushed grahm crackers, rotating to coat evenly. Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Repeat for all apples and refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes. Enjoy!

S'MORES APPLES
Caramel apples are studded with graham crackers and marshmallows and drizzled with chocolate for a treat you can't get enough of.

Steps:
- Insert wooden sticks 3/4 of the way into the stem end of each apple. Place apples on a cookie sheet covered with lightly greased aluminum foil.
- Combine caramels and water in a saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring often, until caramel melts and is smooth. Stir in the vanilla. Dip each apple into the caramel and gently run apples around insides of saucepan to scrape off some of the caramel. Scrape excess caramel from the apple bottoms using the side of the saucepan.
- Combine the miniature marshmallows and graham crackers on a dinner plate. Roll the apples in the mixture to coat. Place on the aluminum foil and chill.
- Put the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. Drizzle over the apples and return them to the refrigerator until ready to serve.
