Snowball Cookies Boxed Cake Mix Recipes

NUT-FREE SNOWBALL COOKIES MADE WITH CAKE MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Mix all ingredients, except powdered sugar, on medium until well combined. Chill for thirty minutes. If dough feels sticky, add 1/4 cup flour or powdered sugar.
• Take about 2 tablespoons of dough and roll into a ball. Roll dough in powdered sugar (optional) and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the tops start to crack. (Don't let them get brown - it will ruin the "snowball" effect.
• Let cool on the cookie for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Dust with sifted powdered sugar.

SNOWBALL COOKIE LAYERED PANCAKE JARS

Steps:

• To make Cookie Pancake Mix, mix Bisquick mix, baking powder and granulated sugar in medium bowl.
• In clean quart jar, add powdered sugar, followed by Bisquick mixture, and finally chopped pecans. Press each layer down with back of spoon to gently compact it before adding the next layer. Top the jar with a lid and ring.
• To make the pancakes, dump Bisquick mixture and pecans into large bowl, reserving powdered sugar for topping. Add milk, egg, vanilla and butter, and stir until combined. Batter will be a little lumpy.
• Pour by 1/3 cupfuls onto greased hot skillet. Cook until edges are dry and bubbles appear on the surface, about 3 minutes. Turn, and cook on other side 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.
• Serve pancakes with generous sprinkling of powdered sugar and, if desired, maple syrup.

SNOWBALL SURPRISE COOKIES

Steps:

• In a large bowl, cream butter, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. In another bowl, whisk flour and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. , Preheat oven to 350°. Shape dough into 1-in. balls; place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Insert a candy disk into the center of each cookie, reshaping dough into a ball and covering disk completely., Bake 12-15 minutes or until bottoms are light brown. Cool on pans 2 minutes. Place remaining confectioners' sugar in a shallow bowl. Roll warm cookies in confectioners' sugar. Cool on wire racks. Re-roll cookies if needed.

SNOWBALL COOKIES (BOXED CAKE MIX!)

Steps:

• HEAT oven to 350°F.
• COMBINE olive oil and oats. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in cake mix, eggs and vanilla until well blended. Fold in nuts. Form into 1-inch balls and place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
• BAKE 8 minutes or until set. Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute. Remove cookies to cooling rack. Roll in powdered sugar while still slightly warm.

CAKE MIX SNOW BALLS

Steps:

• In a medium sized microwavable bowl melt the margarine. Gradually mix in the milk and sugar. Microwave for 5 minutes, stirring every so often. Set aside.
• Combine the chocolate cake mix, rolled oats, and the first amount of coconut in a large bowl. Pour the hot liquid mixture on top, and stir to combine. Cool in fridge for a couple horus, then cover with plastic wrap and leave in fridge over night.
• Roll the dough into aprox. 1 inch balls and roll in the remaining amount of coconut to cover. Store in a covered container in the fridge or freezer.

SNOWBALL COOKIES

Steps:

• Cream butter until very light; add sugar a little at a time.
• Add flour a little at a time.
• Add vanilla.
• Mix in nuts.
• Let dough stand in refrigerator over night or at least 2 hours.
• Roll into small balls.
• Place on cookie sheet.
• Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until light brown.
• While still hot, roll cookies in powdered sugar.

HOLIDAY SNOWBALL COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
• Cream butter, powdered sugar, sour cream, milk, and vanilla in a bowl. Add flour, salt, and cinnamon; mix well. Mix in walnuts. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
• Remove from the oven and immediately roll balls in remaining powdered sugar to coat.
