NANA'S SOUTHERN PICKLED PEACHES
Old Southern favorite. Great on picnics with cucumber sandwiches or at Sunday supper.

Steps:
- Combine the sugar, vinegar and water in a large pot, and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Press one or two cloves into each peach, and place into the boiling syrup. Boil for 20 minutes, or until peaches are tender.
- Spoon peaches into sterile jars and top with liquid to 1/2 inch from the rim. Put one cinnamon stick into each jar. Wipe the rims with a clean dry cloth, and seal with lids and rings. Process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes to seal, or consult times recommended by your local extension.

SOUTHERN PEACH COBBLER
Our peach cobbler can easily be made with either fresh or frozen peaches. Great dessert for most any meal and a real old Southern favorite.

Steps:
- Place peaches in a large mixing bowl.
- Add ½ cup of the sugar.
- Add extract.
- Add lemon juice.
- Toss gently to coat peaches. Set aside.
- Place flour in a separate small bowl.
- Add baking powder.
- Add the other ½ cup sugar.
- Add dash of salt.
- Stir dry ingredients together.
- Gradually stir in the milk until batter is smooth.
- Pour melted butter into baking dish (3qt)
- Pour flour mixture on top of butter. Do not stir.
- Pour peaches over top of flour mixture. Do not stir.
- Bake at 350F degrees for 50-60 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Enjoy!

Steps:
- Combine 6 roughly chopped peeled peaches (about 5 cups), one 6-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, 1/4 cup gin and 1/2 cup ice in a blender. Blend until smooth (in batches if necessary). Pour into 4 glasses.
GRANDMOTHER'S PEACH FUZZ
This is a fantastic rum based drink that my grandmother made for me. It cannot be made virgin, the rum is the key ingredient! The peach skins add a lovely bit of color. Canned peaches do not work as well.
