Orange Dream Protein Smoothie image

A cool, creamy and thick orange dream smoothie that's so delicious and packed with protein!

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (the brand that I used contains 100 calories per scoop)
1 teaspoon vanilla
¾ cup Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almondmilk (Original or Vanilla flavor)
¾ cup freshly-squeezed orange juice (from about 2 large navel oranges)
1 teaspoon orange zest
1-2 cups ice

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to blender and combine!

1 orange, peeled and divided into segments, seeds removed
1.5 - 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1 cup steamed and frozen cauliflower
handful of frozen dark sweet cherries (optional for sweetness)
1 TBSP almond butter or 2 TBSP raw almonds
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp powdered ginger
orange zest
cinnamon
orange wedges

Steps:

  • Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and process until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into a glass and garnish with orange zest, more cinnamon, and orange wedges.
  • Enjoy immediately!

1 tablespoon sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 large egg white, room temperature
2-1/2 cups unblanched almonds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°. In a small bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. In another small bowl, whisk egg white until foamy. Add almonds; toss to coat. Sprinkle with spice mixture; toss to coat. Spread in a single layer in a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Spread on waxed paper to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
