2 tablespoons vegetable oil
¼ cup onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
¾ cup ketchup
⅓ cup vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ (5 ounce) bottle hot pepper sauce
1 (3 pound) chicken, cut into pieces

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the onion and garlic until tender. Mix in ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Preheat grill for high heat.
  • Lightly oil grill grate. Place chicken on grill. Brush constantly with the sauce and cook 8 to 15 minutes on each side, depending on size of piece, until juices run clear. Discard any remaining sauce.

1-1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 broiler/fryer chickens (3-1/2 to 4 pounds each), cut up

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the first 10 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. , Grill chicken, covered, over medium heat for 40 minutes, turning several times. Set half of the barbecue sauce aside. 2 cups peach preserves or jam
3 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for brushing
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
1 small jalapeno, finely chopped
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
8 frenched chicken breasts
4 ripe peaches, cut in half and pitted

Steps:

  • Combine the peach preserves, olive oil, soy sauce, mustard, garlic and jalapeno in a medium bowl and season with salt and pepper. Reserve 1/2 cup.
  • Preheat the grill. Brush the chicken with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the chicken skin-side down and cook until golden brown, 6 to 7 minutes. Turn over and continue cooking for 5 to 6 minutes. Brush both sides with the peach glaze and continue cooking until done, an additional 4 to 5 minutes.

5 navel oranges, divided
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
2 tsp. Sriracha sauce (hot chili sauce)
4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)

Steps:

  • Grate zest from 1 orange, then juice orange. Mix zest and juice with barbecue sauce and Sriracha sauce until blended. Pour half over chicken in shallow dish; turn to evenly coat both sides of each breast. Refrigerate 15 min. to marinate. Meanwhile, heat grill to medium heat. Cut each of the 4 remaining oranges into 4 slices.
  • Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Place 8 orange slices on grill grate; top with chicken. Brush with some of the remaining barbecue sauce mixture.
  • Grill chicken 5 min.; turn. Add remaining orange slices to grill. Cook 15 to 20 min. or until chicken is done (165ºF), turning chicken and oranges occasionally and brushing with remaining sauce.

Steps:

  • Coat both sides of chicken breasts in Frank's Red Hot.
  • Sprinkle both sides generously with garlic powder.

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (abut 1 1/2 pounds)
1 recipe Spicy Asian Marinade
2 tablespoons virgin olive oil (for oiling the grill)

Steps:

  • First: Prepare the Spicy Asian Marinade as directed in the recipe. Put the chicken breasts in a bowl, pour in the Spicy Asian Marinade, and toss lightly to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour, or longer if possible.
  • Second: Prepare a medium-hot fire for grilling or preheat a gas grill or the broiler. If grilling, brush the rack with olive oil and place the meat 3 inches from the source of the heat. Grill, covered, 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is opaque all the way through. Alternatively, you can heat a nonstick skillet until very hot over high heat and sear the chicken until done, about 8 to 10 minutes, turning once. Remove from the heat and cool slightly. The hot chili paste gives it a nice bite but, of course, we added more than the one teaspoon called for in the original recipe. We served it with grilled vegetables and garlic bread.
