1 1/2 to 2 lbs ground beef (or other meat)
1/4 C. Taco seasoning
2/3 C. Water
garlic, minced to taste
green taco sauce to taste
1 can of refrained beans
Fritos corn chips
Cheese, shredded
Sour cream to taste
Wishbone Original Western Sweet & Smooth Salad Dressing or make your own Western Dressing (recipe follows)to taste

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef (or other meat). Drain excess grease, use paper towels to sop up or use a turkey baster to remove it. Add taco seasoning, water, garlic and green taco sauce. Once water has boiled off, add refrained beans and mix in. Cook until all hot. Add anything else you like on tacos, or add it when you have everything in bowl. Break up Fritos in a bowl, Drop hot mixture on top and add cheese, sour cream and Western dressing. Western Dressing: 1 cup sugar 1 cup canola oil 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup catsup 4 teaspoons onions, grated or 4 teaspoons dry onion flakes 1 teaspoon garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon salt Mix all ingredients in blender until smooth. Makes about 4 cups.

2 (11 ounce) packages flour tortillas (street taco size)
1 (8.5 ounce) package salad kit "fiesta lime"
1 medium Roma tomato, seeded and diced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro, or to taste
⅓ cup shredded Oaxaca cheese

Steps:

  • Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground bison, season with taco seasoning, and cook until bison is browned throughout and crumbly, about 5 minutes.
  • Heat tortillas over a comal, or microwave for 30 seconds in a tortilla warming bag.
  • Assemble tortillas by adding 2 tablespoons cooked ground bison, 2 tablespoons chopped salad kit, cilantro, diced tomatoes, and Oaxaca cheese onto each tortilla.
  • Drizzle salad dressing from package on top of the assembled tacos. Enjoy!

½ (1 ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix
2 tablespoons water, or as needed
1 (8 inch) flour tortillas
1 (8 ounce) package shredded lettuce
8 ounces block Cheddar cheese, grated
1 small tomato, diced
1 small onion, diced
2 (2.5 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained

Steps:

  • Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat; add luncheon meat. Cook and stir until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Add taco seasoning mix; stir to coat. Pour in water; cook and stir until water is evaporated, 2 to 3 minutes. Turn heat to low to keep luncheon meat warm.
  • Spray a separate skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat; add 1 tortilla and cook until heated through, about 1 minute per side. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
