2 tablespoons olive oil
⅓ cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
¾ cup broccoli florets
½ cup chopped red bell pepper
2 cups cooked shrimp
½ cup sliced water chestnuts, drained
½ cup baby corn, drained
½ cup canned sliced bamboo shoots, drained
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes, or to taste

Steps:

  • Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in noodles and return to a boil. Cook until the pasta floats to the top, 1 to 2 minutes; drain.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; cook and stir onion and garlic for about 1 minute. Add broccoli and bell pepper; cook and stir until just tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in shrimp, water chestnuts, baby corn, bamboo shoots, oyster sauce, and red pepper flakes. Continue cooking until shrimp and vegetables are heated through, about 3 minutes more.
  • Serve shrimp and vegetables over noodles.

3 green onions, chopped
1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup frozen stir-fry vegetable blend, thawed

  • In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir in the soy sauce, garlic powder and ginger; set aside., In a large nonstick skillet or wok, stir-fry broccoli in oil for 2 minutes.   • In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with sesame oil and the Gourmet Gardens™ Garlic and Ginger Pastes. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Make the sweet ginger chili sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and the Gourmet Garden™ Ginger Paste. Set aside.
  • In a wok or large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon canola oil and ½ teaspoon sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer and season with salt and the red pepper flakes. Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes per side, until just cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Add the remaining tablespoon of canola oil and ½ teaspoon sesame oil to the pan and reduce the heat to medium. Add the onion and sauté for about 3 minutes, until softened. Add the broccoli and cook for about 5 minutes, until starting to soften. Add the bell pepper and scallions and continue to cook until the peppers start to soften, about 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook until soft, about 3 minutes more. Add the bok choy and carrots and cook until the bok choy is wilted, 2-3 minutes. Season with the salt.
  • Return the shrimp to the pan and add the sweet ginger chili sauce, tossing to combine.
  • Divide the stir fry between 2 bowls and garnish with the peanuts and thinly sliced scallions. Serve immediately.

1 lb raw shrimp
1 ½ tablespoons garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ginger, minced
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
⅓ cup honey
⅓ cup soy sauce
scallion, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Place shrimp in a sealable bag or medium bowl.
  • In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix marinade ingredients.
  • Pour half of the marinade on the shrimp. Save the other half for later.
  • Let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  • In a medium pan, heat oil. Add shrimp to the pan, but discard the used marinade. Cook shrimp on one side for about a minute, then flip over.
  • Pour in remaining marinade and cook until shrimp is cooked through and just firm. Remove the shrimp from the pan and let the marinade reduce.
  • Serve the shrimp with sauce and garnish with green onion.
  • Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite dishes to prepare. It's so tasty! My brother in law prepared this during his visit from the Philippines and I was lucky enough to get the recipe. Now I'm sharing it with you. Enjoy!

1 1/2 lbs shrimp (remove shell)
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 small white onion (diced)
1 green bell pepper (diced)
1 red bell pepper (diced)
1 carrot (chopped)
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 egg
1 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 cup warm water
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • Dissolve chicken bouillon in warm water and add oyster sauce. Once cool, add cornstarch and mix well. Set aside for later.
  • In wok, heat cooking oil over medium flame.
  • Add garlic, onion and carrots and saute until slightly cooked.
  • Add bell pepper and cook for approximately 3 minutes. Constantly stirring so that you don't burn the veggies
  • Add shrimp and cook until they turn to a pinkish color. Remember to continue stirring so that everything cooks evenly (About 5 minutes).
  • Add the chicken broth solution and continue stirring. The sauce will thicken.
  • Scramble egg with a fork in a bowl and then pour in with the shrimp and veggies. Stir well.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve while hot and enjoy!
  • This recipe goes great over steamed rice!

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined (21-25 per pound)
1 egg white
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 -2 tablespoon water
2 cups vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons dry sherry
8 garlic cloves, crushed and minced
2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
5 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon chili paste (or to taste)
1/2 cup sliced fresh water chestnut
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons cold water
1/2 cup sliced scallion, cut in 1/2-inch pieces

Steps:

  • Butter fly the shrimp by cutting along the backside, but not all the way through.
  • Place the shrimp in a bowl and add the egg white, cornstarch and 1 to 2 tablespoons of water.
  • Mix well.
  • The consistency should be silky and the color milky.
  • In a large wok, heat 2 cups of the oil to 280 °.
  • Turn the shrimp gently in the poaching oil. When they are white and fluffy, remove them with a stainless steel strainer.
  • Place the cooked shrimp in a colander to drain.
  • In a small saucepan, mix the chicken broth, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, sherry, garlic, ginger, sugar, and chili paste.
  • Stir well.
  • Bring the garlic sauce to a boil and lower the heat to a simmer.
  • In a clean wok, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil to smoking.
  • Add the sliced water chestnuts and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add the garlic sauce, stir, and bring to a boil.
  • Mix together the cornstarch and cold water and stir the mixture into the wok and bring to a boil.
  • Stir until thickened and add the shrimp.
  • Toss and stir 3 times until well coated.
  • Stir in the sliced scallions and serve.
