SPICY ITALIAN CRESCENT ROLL STROMBOLI



Spicy Italian Crescent Roll Stromboli image

Golden brown crescent roll dough filled with deli meat, cheese and banana peppers, topped with melted butter and oregano.

8 oz tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
10 slices deli salami
6 slices deli ham
24 slices pepperoni
6 slices provolone cheese
pickled banana pepper rings

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Line baking tray with foil. Grease with cooking spray.
  • Roll crescent dough out and press together perforated edges.
  • Layer all ingredients on dough.
  • Roll lengthwise and bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.
  • OPTIONAL: Drizzle with melted butter, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese and dried oregano.

1 8 oz log of crescent roll dough
5 slices deli ham
6 large slices salami
5 large pepperonis
3 slices provolone cheese
1/4 cup parmigiana cheese
5 large pepperoncinis
2 T melted butter
1/2 t italian seasoning

Steps:

  • Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil, spray with non stick oil and lay out the crescent roll dough. Press the seams together.
  • Add the ham, pepperoncinis, pepperonis, and salami along the horizontal center line. *See video
  • Bring the sides over the top to cover completely.
  • Add the Italian seasoning into the melted butter and brush on top of the Stromboli. Sprinkle with parmigiana cheese.
  • Bake at 350℉ for 16-24 mins or until golden brown.

  • Unroll dough; place on sprayed cookie sheet. Starting at center, press out dough with hands to form 12x8-inch rectangle.
  • Spread sauce over dough to within 2 inches of long sides and 1/2 inch of short sides. Place cooked ground beef lengthwise down center, forming 3-inch-wide strip and to within 1/2 inch of short sides. Top with cheese, bell pepper and Italian seasoning. Fold long sides of dough over filling; press edges to seal.
