STRAWBERRY COSMOPOLITAN



Strawberry Cosmopolitan image

Strawberry puree and vodka are the key ingredients for our stylishly tasteful cosmopolitans. Garnish with strawberry slices.

2 tablespoons sugar
1 lime wedge
Ice cubes
1/4 cup vodka (2 oz)
6 tablespoons strawberry puree
2 tablespoons simple syrup
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 strawberry, cut in half

Steps:

  • Sprinkle sugar on saucer or small plate. Rub rim of chilled martini glass with lime wedge to moisten; dip rim of glass in sugar.
  • In cocktail shaker with ice, shake vodka, strawberry puree, simple syrup and lime juice until blended. Pour into glass, straining out ice. Garnish with strawberry.

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 strawberries, fresh
1 ounce orange liqueur, I use Cointreau
1/2 ounce lime juice
1 1/2 ounces citrus-infused vodka

Steps:

  • In a mixing glass, place 2 strawberries, cointreau, and lime juce and gently mix.
  • Add vokda and ice, and shake very well, and strain into a martini glass.
  • Garnish with reserved strawberries, making fans or whatever you wish!
