Strawberry Daiquiri Sorbet Recipes

STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI SORBET

Steps:

• In a saucepan combine water and sugar.
• Heat over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and sugar dissolves.
• Remove from heat and cool syrup completely.
• Place strawberries in a food processor bowl or blender container. Cover; process or blend till nearly smooth.
• In a bowl stir together pureed strawberries, rum, lime peel, lime juice, and orange liqueur. Stir in the cooled syrup.
• Freeze in a 4-quart ice cream freezer according to the manufacturer's directions.

BEST STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI

Steps:

• In a blender, combine ice, sugar and strawberries. Pour in lime juice, lemon juice, rum and lemon-lime soda. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

FROZEN STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI

Steps:

• Blend the strawberries then push the resulting puree through a sieve to remove some of the seeds. Tip the sieved puree into the blender again and add the ice, rum and lime juice. Blend again and divide the mixture between 2 Martini glasses.
• Thread the lime slices and strawberry halves onto the cocktail sticks and place onto the edge of the glass, serve immediately.

MANGO SORBET WITH STRAWBERRY-DAIQUIRI SAUCE

Steps:

• For daiquiri sauce, in a blender container combine strawberries, sugar, rum, and lime juice. Cover and blend until smooth.
• Divide sorbet among 6 dishes.
• Pour daiquiri sauce around sorbet. Garnish with lime zest.
• Makes 6 servings.
