The vodka-based caipiroska is a close cousin to Brazil's most famous drink, the caipirinha, which is made with cachaça. The classic caipiroska is just mint, ice, and vodka but it can be made with any fruit and strawberries are particularly good; they bring sweetness to this refreshing cocktail.

- PPlace strawberries, mint leaves, lime, and ginger in a cocktail shaker; sprinkle with sugar. Muddle mixture until strawberries are almost pureed.
