1 cup(s) boiling water
1 small package sugar-free strawberry Jello
3/4 cup(s) Splenda granular (or your no cal sweetener)
6 cup(s) cool water
1 cup(s) lemon juice (bottled for us lazy bones)
1 slice(s) fresh lemon (optional)
1 medium fresh strawberry (optional)

Steps:

  • Add 1 cup boiling water to Splenda and strawberry jello in a large pitcher.
  • Stir until Jello and Splenda are completely dissolved.
  • Add 6 cups of cool water and 1 one cup fresh or bottled lemon juice. Stir to mix.
  • Add a lemon slice and strawberry to a glass. Fill with crushed ice.
  • Keep lemonade chilled. It may become slightly thick from the Jello. Just pour over ice and it will thin out. I seldom have any leftover. :)

  • Combine strawberry juice, 6 cups water, 1 cup sugar, and lemon juice in a large pitcher; stir until blended. Chill before serving.

Sugar Alternative- 1/2 cup equivalent to sugar
Lemon Juice- fresh squeezed is best as bottled lemon juice may have sugar added to it- you will need a cup in total. The average lemon yields about 3-4 tablespoons of juice. A cup holds 16 tablespoons of liquid. Thus
Ice
Water- up to 1/2 gallon
Optional- lime juice 3-4 tablespoons and/or mint sprigs for garnish and/or sparkling water instead of regular water

Steps:

  • Start by squeezing the juice out of your lemons. Transfer the juice to a large pitcher. If adding lime juice to the recipe, do so now.
  • In another pitcher, the one you will serve or store your beverage in, place the amount of ice that you desire. If you would rather to just simply add the ice to the glasses and not to the pitcher, skip this step because you do not need to follow it.
  • Pour the lemon juice over the ice and fill the pitcher with water. Garnish with lemons/mint if desired.

5-6 Lemons (1 Cup Juice)
3-4 Cups Water

Steps:

  • To make the simple syrup, boil 1 cup of water on the stove before adding in 1 cup of granulated sweetener to dissolve. Remove from heat and allow it to cool while you juice your lemons.
  • Wash and slice your lemons in half before juicing the halves into a liquid measuring cup. You want 1 cup of lemon juice.
  • Add the lemon juice to a large pitcher, before adding 3 cups of fresh water to the juice. Add an extra 4th cup if you want the lemonade more diluted.
  • Now add the sugar-free simple syrup you made. Start with 3/4 cup and add more if needed after taste testing.
  • Serve chilled with ice and extra lemon slices if desired.
