Steps:
- For the cakes: Cover the dates with boiling water and allow to rehydrate for 10 minutes, then drain and mash with the banana until smooth. Whisk in the melted butter, brown sugar, brandy, vanilla, salt and egg. Sift in the flour, baking powder and baking soda and stir until just combined.
- Coat a 6-mini Bundt pan well with cooking spray, then coat with a 50/50 mixture of flour and granulated sugar. Tap the excess out, and divide the batter evenly among the cavities. Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, then place a wire cookie or roasting rack on top. Bake the cakes until they spring back when lightly touched, approximately 20 minutes. Place the pan on the prepared rack to cool for 5 minutes, then flip the pan upside down on the rack and let sit an additional 5 minutes. Gently lift the pan to release the cakes, then cool completely, about 30 minutes.
- For the glaze: In a small saucepan, cook the evaporated milk and brown sugar together, stirring occasionally, until it becomes a thick caramel, about 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the powdered sugar and salt, then whisk in the brandy. Add some ice water a teaspoon at a time until you have a glaze the consistency of maple syrup.
- Whisk the butter and glaze into the caramel until smooth, and allow to rest to thicken slightly, 10 minutes. Carefully dip the tops of the Bundt cakes halfway into the caramel, then place them back on the wire rack so that the glaze can drip down and coat them completely. Allow the glaze to harden, about 15 minutes.

Steps:
- Prepare a 12-cup Bundt pan according to the cake mix package directions. Bake the Devil's food cake according to the package directions. Let cool completely.
- Combine the softened butter and marshmallow creme in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth and well combined. Add the confectioners' sugar and 1 tablespoon cream and beat until fluffy, about 3 minutes. Put the marshmallow creme mixture into a piping bag fitted with a long thin round tip.
- Flip the cake so it is flat-side up and make 12 evenly-spaced holes in the bottom of the cake using a skewer, pressing only halfway down into the cake and wiggling the skewer slightly to widen the holes until they are each about 1 inch wide. Insert the piping tip in each of the hollowed-out holes and pipe in some marshmallow mixture until it starts to ooze out the top of the hole, reserving about 1/4 cup frosting for decorating the top of the cake. Flip the cake flat-side down onto a cake stand or serving platter.
- Put the chocolate chips in a small heatproof bowl. Bring the remaining 1/3 cup cream to a boil in a small saucepan, then pour over the chips. Stir until the chips are melted, then stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Spoon over the cake and let cool until set, about 30 minutes. Pipe connecting loops over the top of the cake with the remaining frosting in the piping bag. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE-STUFFED POUND CAKE RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: pound cake, cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon zest, strawberry

Steps:
- Cut the center out of the pound cake, leaving a half-inch border on the bottom and along each side.
- In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer to beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon zest until the mixture is smooth.
- Add the strawberries and beat until the mixture has turned a light pink color but there are still nice strawberry chunks.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture into the hollowed-out pound cake shell.
- Using the removed pieces of pound cake, crumble bits of cake on top of the cheesecake mixture to form a thick layer of crumbs. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
- Be careful when filling the pound cake and when transferring to the refrigerator. Cutting the border too thin may cause the sides to spread too far once the cheesecake mixture is added. You can simply place the pound cake on a plate or tray before filling to make the transfer to the refrigerator easier. Use something to prop up the sides in case they've bowed out too much, to prevent breaking. Once the filling has set in the fridge, it will hold its shape.
- Slice into 10 half-inch (1 cm) slices and serve.
- Enjoy!

- In large bowl, beat Cake ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.
- Bake 38 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven. Let stand 20 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Place serving platter on bottom of cake, and turn over so cake is right side up.
- When ready to serve, sprinkle top of cake with 1 tablespoon powdered sugar. Loosely cover and refrigerate any remaining cake.

FARRAH'S JELLY-FILLED CAKE
This is my goddaughter Farrah's favorite cake and is very reminiscent of a jelly donut. This cake is very forgiving and can be made with any other flavored jam. Plan ahead because the cake needs to sit overnight for the flavors to meld.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®).
- Beat cake mix, eggs, milk, and butter until well combined. Pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool completely in the pan, 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Use an apple corer to poke holes along the middle of the cake, making sure not to poke all the way through. Remove cake from the corer before making the next hole. Leave a 1/2-inch border on the inner and outer edges of the pan.
- Microwave strawberry jam for 1 minute. Stir and continue microwaving in 15-second intervals until jam is melted and pourable. Pour jam into the holes and let cake sit in the pan for at least 1 hour.
- Run a table knife around the inner and outer edges of the pan to loosen. Invert cake carefully onto a serving plate.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk together until well combined. Brush glaze over the cake and let sit overnight so flavors can meld.

- While the sausage is cooking, mix the cheese, jalapeno, onion and cilantro in a medium mixing bowl.
- Roll out the dough and place in a greased bundt pan, placing the dough so that there is enough lip around the inner column and outer edge to fold together after adding the filling. If your bundt pan is larger, just do your best. You'll have to pinch together the ends anyway.
