This is a gorgeous purple color, even more so in person than my photo. You can get the same color using regular vodka if the grape isn't available in your store. From Three Olives Vodka.

3 ounces grape vodka
1/4 ounce blue curacao
1/4 ounce grenadine
1 dash tonic water (a splash)

Steps:

Shake all ingredients together with ice.
Strain into a martini glass and serve!

1 cup canola oil plus 1/4 cup
10 pounds slipper lobster tails, large dice
15 ripe plums, large dice
3/4 cup finely diced jalapeno
1 cup medium diced red pepper
1/4 cup minced garlic
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce plus 1 cup
15 limes, zested and juiced
1 cup toasted sesame oil
75 sprigs fresh cilantro, leaves chopped
150 leaves Belgium endive
2 pounds watercress

Steps:

In 2 large heavy saute pans heat 2 tablespoons canola oil to almost smoking. To each pan, add half the lobster and plums, toss to evenly caramelize. Add half jalapenos, diced red pepper and garlic. Toss to aroma. Remove from heat and deglaze each pan with 1/4 cup low-sodium soy. Meanwhile, in a large stainless steel mixing bowl combine the zest of 15 limes, juice of 15 limes, 1 cup toasted sesame oil, 1 cup canola oil, 1 cup chopped cilantro. Add lobster and plum mixture and cool. To assemble: Pack 2 Belgium endive leaves with 1-ounce watercress leaves and 2 ounces lobster mixture. Garnish with a sprig of cilantro.

Frozen raspberries, for garnish

Steps:

Fill a pitcher with shaved ice. Add the vodka and plum wine and stir well. Strain into martini glasses. Garnish with a handful of frozen raspberries in each glass. Serve immediately.

Ingredients

2 eggs
1-1/4 cups sugar, divided
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup chopped dates
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Steps:

In a large bowl, beat eggs for 1 minute. Gradually add 1 cup sugar; beat 1 minute longer or until thickened. Stir in the almonds, coconut, dates and extracts. Transfer to an ungreased 11x7-in. baking dish., Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until browned and a thermometer reads 160°. Remove from the oven; stir. Let stand for 6-8 minutes or until cool enough to handle. Roll into 1-in. balls; roll in remaining sugar. Cool completely on waxed paper. Store in an airtight container.
