GREEN APPLE CABBAGE SUMMER COLESLAW RECIPE
This green apple cabbage summer coleslaw recipe is just the new recipe you need to shake up your summer coleslaw routine! It's sweet and tart all at the same time and it's the perfect addition to a smoky and spicy BBQ sandwich!

Steps:
- Chop up cabbage, Napa cabbage, parsley, and apples into small pieces. I like to chop the apples into very thin matchstick slices.
- Mix all dressing ingredients together in a separate bowl and whisk together.
- Pour dressing over apple/cabbage mixture and stir and mix until desired coverage is reached. I tend to go very light on the dressing.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. This is best made the day before (or at least 2 hours before) it is needed so everything can mesh together in flavor.

RED CABBAGE AND FRUIT SLAW
I grabbed this from an 'Easy Home Cooking' booklet I found at my mother's place on my last visit. It sounded good and I am always happy to find a slaw recipe that doesn't include raw onion since I dislike raw onion so much. When I made this I used fat free mayo and splenda and it worked great. I really liked the colours in the dish. Cooking time includes chilling time.

- In large bowl, combine savoy cabbage, carrot, apricot and apple and mix well.
- In small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar.
- Pour over cabbage mixture and mix well.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
- Just before serving, mix in red cabbage.

TRIPLE FRUIT COLESLAW
A sweet & sour version of coleslaw that has been a big hit with my family & friends. I found this recipe in my local newspaper and adjusted it a bit to meet our needs. Prepared recipe makes about 12 servings. **Update 2/10** Once I read the review I realized I should have stated that due to the fruits within this coleslaw - it truly does not store well after 2 days. Adjust servings as needed to meet your needs.

Steps:
- Drain pineapple, reserving the juice in a bowl.
- Cut the apple into small cubes.
- Combine the coleslaw mix, pineapple tidbits, cubed apple, chopped celery and dried cranberries in a large bowl - mixing well.
- In a small bowl or 2 cup measure, blend together the mayonnaise, vinegar and the 3 tablespoons of reserved pineapple juice.
- Pour mayonnaise mixture over the coleslaw mixture and toss gently to mix it well.
- Cover and chill for 2-4 hours.
- Before serving, toss the coleslaw gently.
