Summer Long Island Iced Tea Recipes

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the vodka, gin, rum, tequila, Triple Sec, and lemon juice into the shaker. Cover and shake vigorously to combine and chill. Pour the mixture, ice and all, into 2 glasses or beer mugs and top off with the cola. Garnish with lemon wedges. Serve.

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• Add the vodka, rum, tequila, gin, triple sec, simple syrup and lemon juice to a Collins glass filled with ice.
• Top with a splash of the cola and stir briefly.
• Garnish with a lemon wedge.
• Serve with a straw.

THE REAL LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, and sour mix over ice; cover and shake. Pour cocktail into a Collins or hurricane glass; top with splash of cola for color. Garnish with a lemon slice.

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• Put the ice cubes in a mixing glass. Add the gin, vodka, rum, tequila, Cointreau, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Stir well, then strain into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Add enough Coca Cola to fill the glass, and decorate with the slice of lemon.

SUMMER LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• Place sugar and water in a small saucepan over low heat.
• Cook stirring, for 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
• Increase heat to high and bring to the boil.
• Cook without stirring for 3 minutes or until syrup thickens.
• Remove from heat and set aside for 15 minutes to cool.
• Divide the ice evenly among serving glasses.
• Mix vodka, tequila, rum, gin, Contreau, sugar syrup, lemon juice and cola together, pour over the ice.

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• In a shaker, mix all ingredients except Coke and sour mix; shake, and pour into a 12-ounce glass with ice. Top up glass to 1/2 inch from top with sour mix. Add Coke until drink is the color of weak iced tea. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• In a cocktail mixer full of ice, combine vodka, gin, rum, triple sec and tequila. Add orange juice and cola. Shake vigorously until frothy. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice, and garnish with wedge of lemon.

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• Pour the vodka, gin, tequila, rum and triple sec into a large (1.5l) jug, and add lime juice to taste. Half fill the jug with ice, then stir until the outside feels cold.
• Add the cola then stir to combine. Drop in the lime wedges.
• Fill 4 tall glasses with more ice cubes and pour in the iced tea.

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

Steps:

• In a large pitcher, combine the ice, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple sec, maple syrup, lemon juice and lime juice. Add the salt, which accentuates all of the flavors. Stir with a wooden spoon until the pitcher feels cold to the touch and the ice has dissolved slightly, about 30 seconds. Top with the Coca-Cola.
• To serve, pour the cocktail into individual glasses filled with fresh ice, and garnish with lemon and lime slices. Sprinkle with more salt, if you'd like.
