Easy Pot Roast made in the slow cooker.

Steps:
- Cut up potatoes, onions, and celery in to fairly large chunks and place in a slow cooker. Put roast on top of vegetables. Place 3 bouillon cubes randomly on top of roast and pour in water.
- Cover, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or High for 4 to 5 hours.

SUPER EASY CROCK POT PLUM ROAST
A gave a neighbor loads of plums off my tree, and in return she gave me a jar of homemade jam. We hate plum jam, but I created this crock pot dish, and it was a huge hit with family and guests.

Steps:
- Place the meat into the crock pot.
- Mix the jam with the soup mix.
- Pour over the roast.
- Cook on high for 6 hours, or on low for 10 hours.
- Let the roast rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- If you are really patient, chill overnight, then you can cut sheer slices.
- Reheat gently.

SUPER SIMPLE CROCK POT ROAST
I got this recipe from a family friend. It is so simple that my 12 y.o. son will throw it together for me without complaining! Feel free to use any beef or pork roast you prefer. I have been known to use a chuck roast and a pork roast at the same time.

Steps:
- Combine 1st 3 ingredients in crock pot and cook on low for 7 hours or high for 4.5 hours.
- 45 minutes before serving add last 2 indgredients. The smaller your diced veggies the faster you can serve.
PLUM POT ROAST
I'm not sure where I got this from but it is so delicious. I usually skip the browning step & just throw it in the slow cooker, the meat is so tender it flakes rather than slices, the sauce is to die for too.

Steps:
- Brown roast in the oil.
- Combine soup mix, sauce, seasonings, sugar & beer, blending to mix.
- Pour over the roast; cover tightly & cook in a slow oven (160.C)for 2 1/2-2 3/4 hours, turning occasionally, until tender.
- Remove meat from pan and thicken pan juices on the stove. (you may need to add some cornflour to thicken the sauce to your liking).
- Serve sliced meat with sauce.

Steps:
- Season roast on both sides with salt and pepper then brown on both sides in oil; place in crock pot.
- If using chopped vegetables, place beneath roast.
- In the pan you browned the roast, brown the onions and garlic until the onion wedges fall apart.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together onion, garlic and all remaining ingredients except optional vegetables.
- Cover roast with tomato mixture.
- Cover crock pot and set on low for 8-10 hours until roast is tender and the meat can twist out with a fork.
- Drain roast and veggies; thicken some of the sauce if you like or serve with other gravy.
