1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup canola oil
2 large eggs ((room temperature))
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup freshly brewed strong hot coffee
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoon milk or heavy cream
1 cup salted butter ((room temperature))
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
4 tablespoons heavy cream

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350º Fahrenheit. Grease and flour 2 round 9-inch cake pans.
For the cake, put flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Use a whisk to whisk the ingredients well.
In a stand mixer, mix the buttermilk, oil, eggs, vanilla together.
Slowly add in the mix of dry ingredients while the mixer is on low.
Add the coffee and make sure everything is combined. The batter will be very thin.
Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Turn the cakes out onto a cooling rack. While the cakes are cooling, make your frostings.

1 3/4 cups boiling water
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 Reese's Peanut Butter cups
1 (16 ounce) can prepared milk chocolate frosting

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine water and oats and mix well.
Cool to room temperature.
Cream butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla.
Beat in eggs and oatmeal mixture.
Sift together dry ingredients and add gradually to creamed mixture, beating one minute.
Pour batter into a greased and floured 9x13-inch pan.
Crumble peanut butter cups and sprinkle on top, making a thicker layer around the edges.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until center tests done.
Cool completely and frost.

This recipe is sooo simple but sooo good and it came about by accident.

Ingredients

- white cake mix and ingredients on box
2 tablespoon(s) crunchy or smooth peanut butter
15 - mini reese's peanut butter cups softened (more or less)
1 box(es) confectioner's sugar
2 teaspoon(s) milk (add slowly by teaspoon)
2 tablespoon(s) softened butter
3 tablespoon(s) smooth peanut butter

Steps:

Follow directions for the white cake mix.
Once mixed, add 2 tablespoons of crunchy or smooth peanut butter depending whether you like nuts duh lol
Add the 15 (more or less) softened mini reeses's cups. Mix in til you really can't see big chunks anymore. Then bake the cake as directed.
For Frosting: Mix confectioner's sugar, 3 tablespoons of peanut butter (preferably smooth since it is for icing :), 2 tablespoons of softened butter. Add the milk VERY slow since it can make the icing way too liquidy.
Might wana add som reese's peanut butter cup chunks on the sides and/OR the top of the cake. I prefer the sides.
