SAVORY BISCUIT-BREADSTICKS

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°. In a shallow bowl, mix cheese, garlic and pepper flakes. Roll each biscuit into a 6-in. rope. Brush lightly with oil; roll in cheese mixture. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, 8-10 minutes.

Steps:
- Dissolve 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar and yeast in 1/2 cup warm water in a bowl. Let stand until yeast softens and begins to form a creamy foam, about 5 minutes.
- Beat flour, oil, egg, salt, remaining sugar, and remaining warm water into yeast mixture until smooth, adding more flour if needed to form a soft dough. Turn dough onto a floured work surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6 to 8 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, turning once to cover completely with oil. Cover bowl with a damp towel and place in a warm area until dough is doubled in size, about 40 minutes.
- Grease a baking sheet.
- Punch dough down and turn onto a floured work surface. Divide dough into 18 pieces and shape each into a 6-inch rope. Arrange dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart; cover with a towel or plastic wrap and let rise until doubled in size, about 25 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Remove cover from dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
- Whisk butter and garlic salt together in a bowl; brush over each breadstick. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over each.

- Add all ingredients to your bread machine, except 1T.
- water and egg white.
- Use dough or manual cycle on your bread machine.
- Grease cookie sheet.
- Divide dough into 30 pieces.
- Roll each into an 8 inch rope on a lightly floured surface.
- Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place until puffy.
- About 20-25 minutes.
- Heat oven to 350.
- Beat water and egg white.
- Brush over dough.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.

Steps:
- Unroll and seperate bread twists into 16 pieces.
- Place butter in a shallow bowl.
- Combine brown sugar, garlic salt and onion powder in another shallow bowl.
- Roll bread pieces in butter, then in brown sugar mixture.
- Twist two pieces together, pinching ends to seal.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Repeat.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 12-1 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.

- To make the dough, in a large mixing bowl with dough hook attachment, combine flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Add lukewarm water and mix on low speed until the dough comes together. (Alternatively, you can make this dough by hand.)
- Once the dough starts coming together, add olive oil and knead for 2-3 minutes on medium speed. If kneading by hand, knead for 5 minutes. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky.
- Drizzle a little bit of oil into the bowl and coat the dough. Cover with a kitchen towel and place in warm place to rise for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
