A sweet and savory treat for any get-together that will sure be a crowd pleaser. It's cheap and easy to make in a slow cooker with only three ingredients. I make this for any get-together and it is always a hit! I was a little unsure at first about the grape jelly concoction, but I tried it and have never done it any other way. It is so savory with just enough sweet. I always receive or over hear lots of agreement with the taste of the sauce. It always disappears at parties, and the next day I have cravings for these cocktail wienies. Try it for your next potluck, back yard BBQ, or any event!

1 cup barbeque sauce
¾ cup grape jelly
2 (16 ounce) packages cocktail sausages (such as Lit'l Smokies®)

Steps:

Stir barbeque sauce and grape jelly together in a slow cooker; add cocktail sausages and stir.
Cook on Low for 2 to 3 hours.

Ingredients

1 cup catsup
1 cup grape jelly
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained
2 (16 ounce) packages cocktail franks or 2 (16 ounce) packages hot dogs

Steps:

If using full-sized dog/franks, cut them into one-inch pieces.
Over low heat, simmer catsup, jelly, lemon juice, and mustard together for about 3 minutes, stirring to mix well.
Add"dogs" (whatever meat you select) and pineapple chunks and continue to simmer for about 15 minutes, or until"dogs" are hot.
To serve, pour mixture into fondue pot or chafing dish to keep it hot during party serving period.
Serve with toothpicks for spearing these tasty morsels.
NOTE: Any dogs and sauce left in the cooking pot (not served) can be frozen to use for another party!
VARIATION: This sauce is also delicious with meatballs.
MAKE-AHEAD: These can be made up to 3 days before a party and refrigerated until time to reheat them.
Or they can be frozen for up to 2 months before reheating.

1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound cocktail wieners (or little smokies)

Steps:

Gather the ingredients.
In the slow cooker, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, mustard, and garlic powder. Stir to blend the ingredients thoroughly. Cover and cook on high for about 1 hour.
Add the hot dogs and stir to coat them. Cover and cook on high for about 1 to 2 hours, or until the hot dogs are piping hot.
Turn the setting to low (or warm) and serve them hot from the slow cooker.

1 cup chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 pounds cocktail franks
40 ounces pineapple chunks, drained

Steps:

Combine first four ingredients in crockpot; mix well to break up jelly chunks. Cover and cook on HIGH 15-20 minutes to soften jelly and blend sauce ingredients. Cut hot dogs in bite-size pieces and add. Add pineapple. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours; or LOW for 4 hours. Set control to LOW to maintain temperature while serving.

A lady used to bring this to a church covered dish supper. Every time it was gone by the first time people went through. All the kids loved it, especially my granddaughter. So, I got the recipe from her and was amazed how easy it was. Only three ingredients. You could use this for tiny meatballs too along with the hot dogs.

1 (8 ounce) jar red currant jelly
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1 -1 1/2 lb hot dog (you might be able to use 2 pounds)

Steps:

In a saucepan, put the jelly and mustard on a low heat till it is melted and mixed well.
Cook the hot dogs and if using regular size ones--slice into pieces and add to the mixture; if using mini hot dog cook a few minutes and use whole.
Put into a crockpot till ready.
